Ring & Rain & Roses, Memory Maker Poses, Disney, Disney, Then We Came Home! COMPLETE!

Great breakfast and experience : ) your outfits are so so so adorable and your the cutest couple

I do really enjoy the covered parking at Kidani. When we stayed there last summer, I was like "oh, nice!" I hadn't realized until then it was covered.

At least you were able to find a seat for lunch. I have a level of frustration with people when they insist on taking seating in an area reserved for people that are eating. But, I mean, what can you do, right?

The Blue Umbrella?! I LOVE IT!

Whew, good thing you noticed before you got out of the AKL gates that you didn't have your TiW! That would be huge for V&A!

Dinner sounds amazing! V&A is on my bucket list. Someday. Someday. :goodvibes

I feel you on the parking luck. I have the worst luck ever parking at DHS!

Love the SWW outfits too. I love the idea of putting them together without being a costume.

Breakfast looks awesome! We did the dinner for SWW, but didn't book the breakfast. Hindsight shows me that I wish I did, but the dinner was pretty awesome too, so at least we got one of them in. Haha.

Yay blue milk!! I read somewhere that it was a little blue cotton candy-ish?

Gah! I can't wait for the Memory Maker pics! (How handy to be able to se it for two trips now though!)

lol, I think Jeremy's funny face is either "oh man i don't know what to order, its all so good" or my favorite "That Darth Vadar dude was scary!" :rotfl:

I love that the Jawas want to trade!!

Looks like a fun breakfast, would you do it again?

I guess it could have been cotton candy-ish...I'm still not really sure, It was definitely interesting though...and delicious!

I know, I can't wait to put up the Memory Maker photos also! Only like 4 more days and I can put them in!! I am so glad that we are going to be able to make it work for the trip in July also, hopefully our September/October trip will be the same way!

I totally agree with you, I think he is saying "That Darth Vader dude was scary" :rotfl2:

The jawas were probably the best part of that breakfast! They took so much time interacting with everyone and were so into character, I swear I was actually in the movie...it was really cool...now that doesn't sound nerdy of me at all...LOL:lmao:

It definitely was a fun breakfast and a really cool experience, however, we are on the fence about whether we would do it again or not :confused3 For the price that it was $47.99 per person, we could have just met all the people in the park pretty much except Greedo which was not that good of an interaction anyway, but he may have been in the park too, I am just not sure. The food was definitely good, but I dunno. I feel like we wouldn't but are glad we had the experience during Star Wars Weekends!

Covered Parking at Kidani Rules!! This time it really helped out because it rained the majority of our vacation!

Yeah, I am with you on the people taking seating thing, I can understand that it is raining, but seriously when you are wearing a poncho AND sitting under the cover...really, move...we need to eat out of the rain...LOL :thumbsup2

I love our Blue Umbrella, we have the red one also, we used them for Halloween costumes last year at the MNNSHP! It was really fun, now I just pull them out because I love how they turned out!

Yeah, I have some sort of strange psychic tendencies when it comes to remembering things right when we leave somewhere...LOL I can never remember them before we leave though :confused3 It definitely makes a big dent at V&A...it makes me sad that they will not longer be accepting TiW after July 31  I really hope you get to go someday!! I bet you will love it!

We generally have bad parking luck, we should just take the buses, well we do about 50% of the time, it just so happened that this time we chose not to.

We really enjoyed dressing as the characters with outfits during this trip! It was so fun when people in the parks actually recognized that we were doing it, I have a good story later on which is pretty cool! :thumbsup2

I saw and heard great things about the dinner! Hopefully next year they will do it again and we can try the dinner! I definitely would like to experience both of them!

We had just left breakfast with a little time before we needed to get to our FP+ for Star Tours. We definitely wanted some character photos today so we looked at the map to see where everyone was! First up we walked over to Queen Amidala. Her line was pretty short maybe 2 or 3 groups ahead of us, so not bad at all. She was wonderful as a character interaction, she spoke to us about Naboo and what we did on this planet for quite a while. The photo was not the greatest but oh well, what can you do!

QueenAmidala_zps6aedffb3.jpeg

With a little bit of time to spare still we walked over to the Chip & Dale as Ewoks line. Well, this was definitely an interesting one. We waited I think maybe 15-20 minutes to meet them, only because there was a break in the middle so "they" could get a break then come back out ;) When "they" left they were so much fun and entertaining with all of the guests it was great, I was hoping "they" would be just like that when coming back out. Well...when "they" came back out it was very different. Dale was awesome, Chip was well...interesting. When we got up to the front of the line he pretty much went with the other group and we waited forever for him to come back, when he got back he said it was because they had a baby with the other group and Chip liked babies but not adults. It was the strangest character interaction I think I have ever had...:confused3 He even stood backwards in our photos? So anyway those photos are a little awkward? Every single one of them.

Next on the list was our FP+ for Star Tours! This time around we had the Tattooine Pod Race, Ackbar Hologram, and Space Battle over Coruscant. If that means nothing to you I am sorry...LOL

_MG_9960_zps9af8544f.jpg

I always feel like I should take Dramamine before I ride that, it is up there with Astro Orbiter as things I probably shouldn't ride. But it was Star Wars Weekends! How could we not ride Star Tours?? After I slowly walked our of Star Tours taking deep breaths of oxygen...LOL...we started walking over across from Min & Bill's Dockside Diner to check-in for the Feel The Force Package. There were already people lined up to get in. So we got in line behind them all. I took the opportunity to spray on some sunscreen since we were going to be in direct sunlight until the parade was over! It wasn't very long until they let us into the little roped off area.Almost immediately as we got in there and found us a spot to sit and watch the parade, Jeremy got what he really came for! A Water, Coke, and his favorite Disney Treat!

_MG_9968_zps2b056f15.jpg

About 5 minutes after we got our spot about as far right as we could go next to the children's area/accessible areas, a gentleman decided he wanted to stand about as close or on top of me as humanly possible. He definitely does not have any sense of personal space right???

_MG_9969_zps1eabede2.jpg

I definitely didn't want to move my head to far back...awkward! As we were waiting for the parade to start some different characters would come on stage, I wonder if you could guess who I was pointing at!!

_MG_9985_zps644e3e80.jpg

It was my Boba Fett!! He is such a cool character! Especially if you watch Clone Wars, if not, sorry, if you don't watch Star Wars at all...I am really sorry for all of this Star Wars-y rambling excitement! :rotfl2:

_MG_9986_zps2227b4d3.jpg

When the parade hosts came out we knew it was about to begin!

_MG_9988_zps69fb0336.jpg

I am just going to show a few parade highlights and things that I really like so I don't overload you with parade photos, even though it still may feel that way :rolleyes1

Poor Darth Goofy, they were teasing him because he forgot his pants!! That Goofy!, What are we going to do with him!

_MG_0005_zps23d00b45.jpg

In attendance as always is the Florida Garrison of the 501st Legion which is cool to see! One of my favorite types of troopers are the Sand Troopers, I like their pauldrons!

_MG_0035_zps604dca36.jpg

I also got noticed and pointed out...by someone you guys may know!

_MG_0072_zpsd5bf9206.jpg

Next up they brought C-3PO out onto the stage! The crowd really got excited when he came out!

_MG_0087_zps753d1ad2.jpg

Next up were the Ewoks, and not the Chip & Dale ones this time!

_MG_0091_zps7e9b44ee.jpg

Who doesn't love wookies!! Chewy was really getting the crowd going with his antics!

_MG_0095_zps4ce911a3.jpg

Sand People aka Tusken Raiders are just creepy right? They even had a baby one that just looked well...interesting to say the least!

_MG_0118_zpsd79d36db.jpg

This next guy was just grinning a lot, so I thought he deserved to be shown off in a Trip Report, he was one of the only flag bearers that looked happy to be there in the heat!

_MG_0158_zpsbe846ab5.jpg

My all time favorite clone (well other than Boba) is Captain Rex! He just looks cool I think!

_MG_0163_zps0c9cd45e.jpg

Last but definitely not least, strolling down the boulevard is the one the only Boba Fett!!

_MG_0205_zps2b284ee0.jpg

As soon as the parade end was coming you could see a massive wave of people coming our way!! We had very little time to get out of their way before they ran us all over!! So we hopped up, and briskly walked out of the way and to see if there was a line for the Behind The Force Show!

I have been waiting to enjoy reading about the trip; thank you for the vicarious pleasure!

SWW looks so fun and what a great parade : ) yeah I'm not a fan of people hovering behind me or over me either ugh!

Yeah, I think Jeremy was even a little annoyed at how close that guy was standing pretty much on top of me...That space was pretty large, you would have thought he could find somewhere else to stand... :confused3

Hi! I am loving your trip report so far! And, I have a few questions for you, if you don't mind!

What is the DPart app? I have never heard of it before, and I would love to use it on our next trip!

Also, where did you get the blue umbrella? I am IN LOVE with it!!!!

OKay, I have seen some video with Chewie walking in the parade and on stage and he kinda weirds me out the way he moves. I mean when he gyrates his hips it freaks me out a little bit...and yet kinda fascinating at the same time. :confused3 lol, weird!

Eesh, some people and their lack of personal space. He might have just been hoping to make you move to give him more space. Hopefully its not just cause he enjoys standing uncomfortably close to strange women. Love your eyes/expression in the pic though!

How weird about Chip!! And annoying!! A little disappointing coming from my favorite characters!! :worried:

Yay for parade though! Love them ewoks!! :lovestruc

Aww thank you! I am glad you like it! Questions...No Problem!! :goodvibes

DPart is an app where you can select your location and where you want to go, and it will tell you the next time the bus should be there to take you. It is really easy to use and we had no problems with it on my iPhone 4. It also seemed to be pretty darn accurate each time we "tried" to take the bus it was always there when it said it was going to be. We just never ended up getting on any of those buses...:rotfl2:

Ahh The Blue Umbrella. We have a red one too. So we made them, not the umbrellas of course. We bought each a Blue/red umbrella from Target online I believe, the store didn't actually have them when we went. Then we bought some Black sticky craft vinyl, like the kind for cricuts? Jeremy, my husband drew out the faces that we wanted, and then cut out the pieces with an exacto knife and then we glued them on with fabric glue. That was all! Now we have a pair of umbrellas, the vinyl held up pretty well even when they are closed, we have carried them quite a bit and they still look like the day we made them! Hope that helps! :goodvibes

I remember seeing some video from past Star Wars Weekends for that Hyperspace Hoopla and that was totally crazy. This year I didn't notice Chewie doing anything out of the ordinary.

You are right, he probably did want me to move, but geez, sorry dude get your own spot, I was here first...ugh. Yeah when I saw that picture I about died laughing.

Yeah I have ALWAYS loved Chip & Dale! Dale was great too! It did make me a little sad, I kind of felt like for the first time I was too old to be there. I don't think I have ever been made to feel like that before. :confused3

As soon as we made it out of the mass of people trying to get to the stage we walked down to stop by to see if there was already a line started for the Behind The Force: Star Wars Rebels show, and there was not yet. It is the least popular of the shows during the day, so we figured we would go and walk around a little before we came back to get in line for it!

We started walking over toward the direction of Darth's Mall and noticed that Anakin had a line going...very short though. So we stopped by to say Hi! He saw my patch and asked if I was from Mandalore and knew Dutchess Satine, because Obi-Wan and her are friends. I said of course I know her, and I see her and Obi-Wan sneaking around sometimes too...Sorry I do actually really like Clone Wars!

IMG_0226_zpsec3d97b9.jpg

Jeremy also had fun pretending he was a Stormtrooper in a Blister Pack!

_MG_0228_zps789dca1a.jpg

We made it over to Darth's Mall and didn't really have to wait long to get in. I wanted to go over there to get a really awesome calendar that I had seen on the Star Wars Weekends merchandise blog! Unfortunately we searched and searched and then asked someone, and they were all sold out. I should have assumed that since it was the last weekend, but I was still a little sad.

We love us some LEGO so as we were walking around and I ran into this I had to take a photo of it!! Could you imagine having a LEGO Darth Vader inside your house...I don't even want to think about how many pieces that thing is!!

_MG_0234_zps2d2463ee.jpg

We had seen everyone walking around outside with these Star Tours name tags on and thought they were really cool! We hadn't spent any of our Darth's Mall shopping budget so we started looking around for them. It turned out that they are custom name tags that they make for you. This year's color was Orange...but...they had a special Passholder color as well which was Blue! So we definitely wanted to get the passholder ones! We stepped up filled out our forms and 15 minutes later we had them!!

Jeremy decided that he wanted to be from Kashyyyk!

_MG_0251_zpsb3e3aeb8.jpg

Of course you guys know where I wanted to be from?? Don't you???

_MG_0252_zps4ec25256.jpg

It was finally time to head back to get in line for the show!! There were quite a bit of people in line now, but we were definitely still pretty far up. Once we got inside the theater they had the coolest Propaganda posters that I totally wanted!! Too bad Darth's Mall wasn't selling those!!

_MG_0239_zpsdecc98f2.jpg

The show featured Steve Blum who is a new voice actor on Star Wars Rebels. Ashley Eckstein hosted it and the stormtroopers as always, did a fun little skit at the beginning! Steve Blum was great! They even showed some sneak peeks of Star Wars Rebels which starts this fall, and I can't wait for it to start!

Guess what happened next!!! As the show ended, the Rain came down!! It was absolutely pouring when we left the theater!! Luckily, we did have an umbrella with us this time in the backpack! Glad we remembered to bring it!It was a little past lunch time and we were getting hungry so we decided to head on over to Pizza Planet! We got a pizza to split because we didn't want to ruin our appetites for the dessert party and/or snacks later! Of course since it was raining there were no seats inside, but we were able to find somewhere to sit under and umbrella outdoors where we could enjoy our Veggie Pizza & Caesar Salad!

_MG_0246_zps5bb8871d.jpg

Now that lunch was over it was time for us to use our FP+ for the Stars of the Saga show! They were letting the fastpass holders in just as we walkd up so we had great timing on that one! We got inside and managed to get really good seats for the show which was Fantastic and hilarious! It included pretty much the whole cast of the Clone Wars. It was a little sad though considering that Clone Wars is over :(

_MG_0249_zps1e9900b4.jpg

After the show we decided that we would go back over to Darth's Mall ad get photos with Mickey & Minnie and Donald & Goofy. The Mickey & Minnie photo turned out ok and the Goofy & Donald one...well...photopass fail. It was so dark!! I guess it is because they are on the Dark Side...hehe

MickeyMinnieStarWars_zpsd0f554a1.jpeg

DarthGoofPhotoFail_zpsc22c4280.jpeg

We also played around with the Aurasma App Which was pretty cool, you hold your phone up to a symbol on a backdrop and it loads in characters to take a photo with!! We got photos of Jeremy with the Imperial Guards and of course a Stormtrooper. These things were totally not really there! So it was pretty awesome to get to act!

ImperialGuards_zps96ef143d.jpg

Stormtrooper_zps27bbbbc7.jpg

For me, we got the Chewbacca backdrop and you guessed it again, the Boba Fett!

Chewie_zpsdba3c133.jpg

BobaFett_zps292a09f5.jpg

It was raining yet again when we came out of Darth's Mall so we just decided to go and wait for the last show of the night Obi-Wan and Beyond with James Arnold Taylor! It turned out to be a great time to catch up on Trip Report notes. We also played a little with our Nintendo 3DSXLs. We had tons of Street Passes all day long, I swear I got like 50! It also gave us somewhere to sit down out of the rain! All we kept thinking was that we hoped the fireworks wouldn't be rained out!

So the JAT show was at 7:00 and it was AWESOME!!! He is so amazingly talented and if you ever have a chance to see him you should definitely DO IT!

_MG_0254_zps514af5a9.jpg

When the show was over we had our final Fastpass of the day for Tower of Terror. We got in very quickly. After "the room" we got into the service elevator line. Both sides were open. But for some reason everyone went to the right except for us and another couple that went to the left. Which meant we had a very empty elevator car!

TowerofTerror_zpsa90e52db.jpeg

After riding we slowly walked our way over to the fireworks dessert party and during the walk it started raining on us yet again :rotfl2: I only have one more photo of the night because I didn't want my camera to get ruined with us standing outside in the rain. So we made it to the Dessert Party and found us a table to stand at!

_MG_0256_zpsdcee76a9.jpg

The desserts were delicious!! Jeremy also really enjoyed the beverages of the alcoholic persuasion. DJ Lobot was awesome and had everyone dancing. It rained the entire rest of the night, even on the tram back to the the car, and on the drive back to the resort. We had a really fun-filled Star Wars Day with a great Fireworks ending!! They weren't canceled!! We got back to the room and were so tired we quickly and easily went to bed!

Yeah I have ALWAYS loved Chip & Dale! Dale was great too! It did make me a little sad, I kind of felt like for the first time I was too old to be there. I don't think I have ever been made to feel like that before. :confused3

That really really sucks:headache: Hopefully Chip was just having an off day and thinking he was being funny but not realizing he was failing. Maybe he was "new" or woke up on the wrong side of the tree.

Those name tags are pretty cool! And those Aurasma pics are neat!

I have heard good things about the Stormtrooper skits. I really should youtube some of them!

Yay for fireworks not being cancelled and desserts! I have seen pics of them and just yuuuuummmmm!! :cloud9:

Awesome! I love DIY stuff!!! So original!

I'm actually being hopeful they do both meals next year for SWW. I'm planning a long weekend with my brother concentrating on SWW, so I'm hoping both meals are being done. :thumbsup2

Wow, that Chip and Dale interaction sounds.....bizarre. We had the pictures with them at the dinner. Thankfully they were a lot of fun.

I know exactly what you mean on your Star Tours ride. I got every reference. :rotfl2:

Okay, that guy really didn't have any idea of personal space! That's just too close for comfort.

Sorry you weren't able to find what you really wanted at Darth's Mall. We were fortunate, we were there on opening day, so everything was still in stock. But let me tell you, it was an absolute madhouse!

Woo hoo, only $21.03 over budget at that point! I totally got super excited for you right then. :hyper:

Can we go back !!!!!:cool1:

I can honestly say that this was one of the most entertaining SWW that we have been to. They keep getting better and better !

I was also disaponited in the Chip experience. Luckily Dale has always been my favorite !

So can we go again.... I'm ready !

Yeah, I hope he was having an off day! All of my other character interactions with Chip & Dale over the years have been great!

Totally youtube this years skits, they were great!
