We're in school til late June as well.....I think the 21st. Matt has testing this week that he'll have to make up. I'm not a happy camper.

Sunny and nice today in RI but our weather doesn't look promising for the weekend either and we have an outdoor wedding to attend on Sunday.

I'll jump on the kitten bandwagon Steph. In fact, if you figure out how to convince Neil I'll be sure to try the same technique on Lew!

Our kids last day of school is June 14. They begin the Thursday before Labor Day weekend and luckily had no snow days this year even though we got quite a bit of snow.

Morning everyone. My eyes are a little bit crossed after looking at the riddle. BTW, everytime I see "SB" I keep thinking you are referring to Side Show Bob!

June 6th is the last day of school here. We will be going away this weekend to my in-laws cottage. Tons of fun - NOT. My SIL feels she needs to invite all of her friends up for the weekend. While they are all very nice people, we very rarely get to spend the whole weekend with just my DH's family. I'm sure she would not be thrilled if I started inviting all of my friends up to stay. They have their own summer place and the rest of the summer to entertain there. My MIL is not very happy about all of the extra people, but she's not going to tell her "no".

Our 13th HA is on Monday.

I actually think a shorter summer vacation is better for the kids. They don't forget us much and have to review as much.

June 5th is our last day of school!! But that will change next year! We're going to start a week later this Fall and get out a week later next summer. Ugh!

Our kids go back the day after Labor Day. Geez - summers seemed longer when I was a kid!

I haven't heard from Dan in a couple of days....I guess we all need a break every now and then. I met Dan last December while at Disney - he was someone I'd been looking forward to meeting since I started posting here. He's always been so friendly, helpful and generous to me. He's even nicer in real life. I hope to see him again this August at RiddleCon!

Sounds like you DH has a little devil in him Lars!

Len - sounds like you had a wonderful time! Isn't it amazing how quickly the years get behind us? I'm also amazed at how much those seven years of high school still mean to me....

WOW, the sun is shinning! Maybe after I get done with my grooming clients today, I can go out and watch roofers!

Twins play in California at 2pm our time, so I can listen to the game too. I usually hate California series, because if they are night games, I stay up too late watching them!

Okay....I was just checking Dylan's lunch calendar & I realized it's only Tuesday........that means DH & my Annibirthary isn't tomorrow.....it's Thursday!! Duh!! The 22nd...we were married on his 22nd birthday 16 years ago!

Steph, good luck with the kitten thing. Luis' mom did the exact same thing Of course she also has it ingrained in his brain that he hates dogs as well so I am stuck trying to fight for a dog and think I will lose. I think our MILs must be related Honestly I have never had a problem with cats. They are inherently very clean animals... especially the females. If you figure out how to convince your DH to get a cat, tell me and I'll try to use it all on my DH for a dog

Not entirely sure when the last day of school around here is. I think it is about the 2nd week of June... about the 10-15th I think.

I must say I miss Dan around here too It really does bum me out when the nice ones go away, and he's been gone for 2 weeks now. He is a great guy and a great friend to many.
