Good morning OK and the Corral

Doesn't really matter that OK is commuting right now because I don't have the answer to the riddle.

Our lilacs have come and gone here. I only have one small bush so don't cut the few blooms to bring them in.

Gail. My SIL, BIL, MIL, and FIL will all be in RI this weekend for the Johnson and Wales graduation Saturday. They are going to some cigar bar Friday night. Weather does not look good.

Our last day of school was supposed to be June 6 but was delayed until June 12 to make up snow days. We always start back the Monday of the week before Labor Day.

Lars, my brother and SIL's anniversary is May 22. There's will be 21 years this year.

I miss Dan Murphy here too. I hope he still comes to Riddlecon.

Hints will be accepted for the riddle.

 Just passing through this morning. The riddle has me stumped this morning and don't have time to really ponder on it.

Lars624 - Thursday the 22nd is my DH's birthday as well! I will be out of town that day though on business - so we are going to celebrate on the weekend. :)

Had to pop back in for a few minutes to tell you what I found at the end of my driveway this morning!

LOL! The nieghborhood young man who drives everyone crazy rooting around with his 4 wheel drive SUV buried it in the mud on the road site! He will have a HUGE bill now! They called the cops, so he will pay for getting it out of there, plus a fine, plus I think they might have to ruin the vehicle to get it out!:p

Good morning all! PM sent, but I guess I'll have to wait for Bernie to get to work before I get them. I hope he gets there before I have to leave for work, or else the customers might not understand my attire for the day!

Valerie, I'm glad to hear that your Mom is doing better, and that you had such a nice weekend.

Gina, I hope that Matt feels better soon! I hate it when they sound like they're going to cough up a lung! Makes my lungs hurt just hearing them!

Happy anniversary to L6 and LK and their DH's!!!

Happy birthday to L6's and DblD's DH's!!!

I hope that DM comes back soon too. He really is missed around here. I'm looking forward to meeting him at Riddlecon.

Steph, it was almost the end of our relationship when Len told me before we got married that the only thing cats were good for was feeding big dogs. He quickly changed his tune though, and is now a big fan of cats. Just set the kids loose on him with their big sad eyes, and he'll give in!

Bernie, I hope that the weather cooperates for you this weekend! You are right though, that the 1000 islands is beautiful no matter what the weather. Enjoy your trip!

Our kids finish school the 25 of June, but the high school writes exams for the week before that, so their last class is the 18. They all go back the Tuesday after Labour Day.

Good morning, DblD! :) Happy Birthday in advance to your DH....:)

John - it looks like my moon was a waning moon!

Kathy - I'm looking forward to seeing YOU at RiddleCon too! :)

Diane - he's THE neighborhood young man??? :p

Hiya, Sis! :)

Diane.....well there goes the neighborhood......

Kathy....let's hope the "visiting kitty" will work....

Me thinks OK Is missing his girls...let's say we all head to NY and take up residence so he won't be lonely...

**as she carelessly thows a towel on the bathroom floor****

Great idea Steph! You mess up the bathroom & dirty lots of laundry.....I'll tie up the phone line & whine for money & the remote!!

jut came to me, I think it is the caffeine that helps.

Valerie, I am so glad to hear your mother is feeling some better and that you can visit. THe emotional mood always helps in healing.

We now know that Elaine is NOT a man, well I knew from meeting her, but she made the comment that she stayed up late reading the owners manual for her new car. No man would admit to doing it, and probably wouldn't do it anyway.

Wow, lots of Birthdays and Anniversaries in May. Good wishes to all.

Cats - I am allergic big time to them, dogs too. I tolerate my dogs because I got them as puppies and try not to bury my face in their fur. It doesn't always work. I spent last week being stuffed up from my sisters 2 cats and her Golden who had to spend every waking and sleeping moment with me. Good luck on the kitty Steph, pets make a family complete.

Diane, I was so happy to see the post about your favorite neighborhood pest. It usually doesn't work that way, guess all the rain was a blessing after all.

I should stop this and go to work.

See ya later.

A good rainy morning to you all! Guess we should be happy we had a couple of rainfree days over the holiday weekend but I was hoping to get more outside work done today!

Hope Matt feels better soon Gina. That cough sounds awful! :(

Happy Anniversary and Happy Birthday to those celebrating this week! :)

I'm so glad to hear that your Mom is doing so well and you got to see her, Valerie! :)

Dan and Tim start writing their exams on June 18 ~ where has this year gone??? School starts again the day after Labour Day.

Tonight is the series finale of "Buffy", can't wait to see what happens.

Have a great Tuesday all! :sunny:

Thanks, Lars and Stephanie! It's just like having them back!! :teeth:

I read the owner's manual - usually AFTER I've broken something, trying to fix something else! :p

It looks like you Eastern Canadians ACED your long weekend's weather, Julie! :)

I owe some pants!

This one has me stumped. I'm accepting hints from my fellow riddlers. ;) I'll owe you big time. Bernie, DS says I have to tell you that he helped me come up with my "classic" answer yesterday. LOL! He says he gets no credit around here.

Happy birthday and happy anniversary to all those celebrating. Sounds like busy calendars.

My kids get out of school after Friday. The high school started finals today and the middle school begins on Thursday. Hard to believe some of you have another month to go. My son will have done his two weeks of camp (church and Scouts) before some of you are out for the summer. Wow!

My DH didn't think he particularly liked cats before we met. Now our little black cat is HIS! Cats are very clean. The new crystal litter is not smelly if you scoop and stir every day. That is my DD's job, by the way. They are easy-care. Ours doesn't eat canned food, so we can actually leave him alone for the weekend with a big bowl of food and water, if we need to. He gets lonely, but does just fine. I think the kids are the key. If they fall in love and beg with soulful eyes, he won't be able to resist. Besides a kitten is so cute and cuddly. He'll fall in love eventually. BTW, I thought I liked females the best, but our vet talked me into a male this time around. "Fixed" males are actually more friendly than females. Cricket even comes to me and jumps into my lap when I call him . . . like a dog. He's a lot more friendly than our female ever was.

DH had good news from the doctor this morning. Instead of 8 weeks in the walking cast, he'll only do 6 weeks. That means he's halfway there. He gets to take it off now when he is sitting around or sleeping. He only needs to wear it when he is walking. I'm VERY happy!

I better get back to work. I'll keep thinking on this riddle and I'll check my PM's later in case anyone wants to help me out a little.
:teeth:

Hey Bernie, can you drive me to the mall with some of my friends and then we can all have a sleep over. (Just remining you of whar you are missing.)

After some help from a friend, I have the answer. PM sent.

Hello, there!:) I actually read "the Monday edition" of RMT, cuz in my mind it's Monday, since we were out of town and didn't do the work thing until today! Uh, duh! We had a pleasant little getaway to Wisconsin (just my husband and I, we like to go up to Lake Geneva, WI when we can to just kinda relax and refresh!)...hope everyone else had a good weekend, and is having a good week!:)

Happy Anniversary and Birthday to all those celebrating!

Gina, I hope Matt feels better soon. I know how awful it feels to sound like you are coughing up a lung.

School goes till the 25th of June for the kids here. The teachers still have to put 2 PD days in though, so we finish on the Friday.

The end of shcool schedule is already starting to get busy, field trips, fun day, dig in day(that is where we plant flowers and stuff) and only 26 days left! :bounce:

Thanks to some helpful riddlers, I finally figured it out. PM sent. I should have seen this one, knowing OK and one of his favorite sayings.

We had a good day around here. More studying for finals. I'm about ready to head to bed. The storms last night woke me up several times and I'm tired.

Have a good night, all. And thank you to my "helpers". I owe you.
