Good morning!

Nice breakfast spot Bernie....now I know that I live in "The Crossroads of Southern New England" - wow! I also never knew that B&B existed. Pawtuxet Village, where it's located, is about 15 minutes from my house and it is a beautiful area.

Would someone please send lilacs this way??? There was a beautiful bush on a neighboring street that we'd get them from but the house was sold and the new owner must not have been a fan because they took out the bush!

So glad to hear your mom's improving Val.....your dad must be sleeping easier too.

Yes...other flowers don't bother me! I actually have carnations & daisies in here right now & I'm fine tomorrow is my Anniversary so maybe I'll get more flowers.......maybe not...... LOL!!

I didn't get out to the house after my early visit yesterday morning before the rain started. I know the roofers could not work yesterday, but I sure hope they come and finish up today! They should be able to finish the roof finally! I wont get much time to get out there today either.

Question for all of you:

The kids really really really want a kitten, and we just found out the friends of ours have a cat who is expecting. The problem is that my DH doesn't care for cats. His mother told him as a child that he was allergic, which he really isn't (we had a cat for a SHORT time several years ago) and her phobia has worn off on him.
Soooo...how do I convince my DH that the kids would do fine with a kitten, and it won't "stink up the house"

Without telling anyone he was planning to do it, our minister had the entire church stand up at the beginning of our ceremony and sing happy birthday to Matt LOL!! The minister also told everyone in church that day how intelligent Matt was because he was making sure he'd NEVER forget his anniversary!LOL
