Return of REAL Meet-n-Greets

Can anyone in the park comment on the Meet-n-Greet situation including character dining?

Disney has recently stated they'll start returning things to normal this month (April) in terms of hugs at meet and greets. But precisely where, when and how long the whole process will take to get back to pre-covid normal was not specified beyond that, as far as I have seen. People will likely start reporting on these boards as they uncover locations with character hugs/interaction etc.

Im ready for photo pass to return to the meet and greats ( and that they never bring the camera boxes back...LOL) at least to the indoor ones its hard to get good pics inside.

On Instagram this morning (04/18) various vloggers were sharing their meet n greets with hugs. Mickey and princesses at MK were the ones I saw.

We just back from WDW on Sat night. We saw Cpt Jack Sparrow and he was doing the 6-feet away meet and greet, and he told us, "touching starts next week!" LOL

We have a 12:10 Topolino’s reservation - will report back on what characters do.

All of the character interactions that were listed as “see” are now “meet” -Mickey, Anna/Elsa, etc. And Sulley is at HS today too! We are not at parks today, but all of those should be with hugs, autographs, etc

Saw a pic on another thread with Topilino back to traditional meal meeting I read but haven’t seen pics that Hollywood and vine is back as well

I just want a report of if PHOTOPASS has returned to town square and fairytale hall … you can’t hug and selfie at the same time

Great news. I managed a Chef Mickey ADR for our upcoming trip but man I really still want Topolino. I keep trying with the dining alerts but so far I've been too slow every time (even when I'm super fast!)

All 4 characters came around twice - all encouraged hugs! We didn’t do autographs but I’m sure that would’ve been fine too. Definitely a fun experience for our girls (8, 4)
