We are coming down in 2 weeks (thank goodness, this snow is making us absolutely crazy!). My kids are both bringing a friend and I'd really like to eat at places that would be fun atmosphere for two 14 yr olds & two 16 yr olds. What restaurants did your teen really enjoy?

50's Prime time or Sci Fi at HS
Teppan Edo, Via Napoli at Epcot

Calf Grill for special dinner

we went as a large group with four teens...and they loved Hollywood and vine dinner buffet........They also loved the entertainment and food at Biergarten. We took them to House of Blues ...loved the atmosphere there and also Planet Hollywood.....we did go to a breakfast buffet with characters ...

Teppan Edo
Prime Time
Cape May Cafe
Sunshine Seasons
Fish Place in UK
Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD

Also Garden Grill and Beaches and Cream.

I have teen boys.

I thought this article on the Disney Food Blog was actually pretty good advice for dining with teens at the parks.

Usually when I read advice on this topic, I read it in the frame of mind I would have been in as a teen when I was visiting the parks, and, frankly, a lot of it stinks. I wouldn't have wanted to do a character meal. I wouldn't want to be leashed to my parents' hips the entire time. I, of course, would want to have fun with my family, but I'd definitely want some freedom to explore on my own.

I think a lot of parents when planning trips with their teen kids get a little too stuck on wanting it to be like it was when their kids were still into Santa Claus and believed that Mickey wasn't just a girl in a costume, and they get upset when their kids would rather go off on their own and spend some money in the Japanese bookstore in Epcot than wait in line to see a character.

The person who wrote that article got it pretty much right on, I think. It's really is good advice in how to best include your teens in your trip planning.

We are taking our DD16 & her best friend to WDW for their High School Graduation gift/trip this June.

DD16 has eaten at all of the following but her friend has not (hasn't been to WDW since she was a toddler).

DD has made ADRs for:

1) WCC
2) T-Rex
3) Crystal Palace
4) Cape May Buffet

I can't recall the others.

My then 19 year old really enjoyed breakfast at Ohana with Lilo and Stitch. It was her second trip, though, so if your kids are character-ed out, that may not be true for them.

The OPs trip is only 2 weeks away....it would be worth a try, but 'Ohana is probably booked by now.....esp. around "Presidents' Week".

50's Prime Time in DHS for the experience and the food! Teen-agers are prime "Targets" if you will for all the razzing!

my lunch there this past Aug with my sis and 20 yr old DD will go down as one of the funniest memories EVER in our life:woohoo::rotfl::lmao:

Just asked my teenage son which ones he enjoyed the most (we did a lot of restaurants). His choices: Garden Grill, Tusker House breakfast, Beaches & Cream, 'Ohana (but he thought the turkey smelled like the Rhino pen at the zoo, ITA, but I hear it's chicken now...)

My tween and teen love 50's Primetime and Sci Fi. They both also really like doing a breakfast buffet or 2 with Tusker House being the top choice. For a nice dinner they loved Yachtsman steakhouse and feeling like adults ordering fancy desserts. It's a nice place but not dressy. Liberty Tree Tavern is our other must do with basic comfort foods in teen massive quantities ;)
