Restaraunt PS'S

Hi Everyone,
This is my first time on a board!! I have been planning our first trip to Disney for this summer. The boards have really helped me out. I was curious about something. I have all of my character meals set with ps's, but we also want to eat at noncharacter meals. Should I also plan ps's for places like Rainforest Cafe? Thanks for any advice!!

Hi Isabella, and welcome!

I think you should do PS whenever possible, especially if you will be at WDW during peak times. You didn't say what part of the summer, but most of it is pretty crowded, so I would vote yes for any restaurant that will take a PS.

Yes...I would definately plan out where you would like to eat and make PS's. I called today to make PS arrangements at Ohana, Whispering Canyon, Rainforest, Sci fi, and 50's (for May 22, 23, 24 and 25) and some of them were booked except for really early dining and late dining - and these are weekdays! Even if you change your mind when you get there, you will not be charged.

I agree with the others . If you know where you want to eat, definitely book a PS. You can always cancel if you need to, but its better not to have a long wait when you go to a restaurant, or worse, to be shut out all together.
On average we make 1 PS per day.

It does depend on when you go and where you want to eat. I'm not sure about Rainforest Cafe (don't particularly like it so we don't go there), but for non-character meals such as Ohana, Liberty Tree Tavern, and the castle dinners you will have less of a wait with a PS. You can make your PS now and call back to cancel or change them from your hotel room and even from a "special" phone in each of the parks. If you don't have a PS, you can stop by the restaurant early in the day and try to make your PS for dinner.
