Yesterday I made a dinner reservation for November 30th, which is during our trip. I just went into MDE to get my fastpass times so I could plug them into Touring Plans and I saw that the dinner reservation shows for September 30th (TODAY) at 1:55 p.m. The reservation was for 7 people. I'm absolutely sick thinking that I'm being charged for a reservation when I'm 1200 miles away at work.:sad::sad:
Has anyone ever had this happen? What should I do? I think when I was checking different places and different times it must have reverted to the wrong date.

You should have gotten a confirmation email. Check the date on that, and then I would definately call an explain what happpened. Good luck. I booked BB last week and when I checked MDE it showed DDP for 1 adult and 1 child when it is DH and myself. I called and our reservation shows for 2 adults. So you may be ok and MDE is wrong.

This absolutely happens, and has gotten many of us. Some notice it, others don't. Call them. Talk to them. MDE has been doing this (switching dates when there is absolutely no reason for a rational computer-user to expect it to change) for too long. They've got to fix it.

I called and they told me to call back tomorrow. She said the card hadn't been charged yet and there was nothing they could do until it had been, which doesn't seem logical to me. They can't stop the card from being charged? Anyway, she said they would reverse the charge tomorrow, but also said I would not be speaking to her and there was no way to make a note in the account to let them know it was a mistake. She also said giving me her name would do me no good. I guess I'm stuck until tomorrow, unless you think calling back tonight and speaking to someone else might help.

Apparently this does happen all the time, as I had no problem getting the charge refunded this morning. So thankful this could be done, as $70 is almost a counter meal for my family.

Please check your confirmation emails carefully to be sure you have what you think you have.

My guess is that no show charges are run all together in a batch file at some point during the day or overnight, so it would be accurate that she can't prevent it. Much easier to refund it. Glad to hear it worked out!
