Reservation Question

Ok, I booked a Magic Your Way Package with free dining last week for August 13-18, and we decided we wanted to extend it one day by arriving the 12th. So from what I have read on here we would have to make a resort-only reservation for 1 night so we would not lose free dining. I call Disney today and the lady I got had no clue what was going on. She put me on hold several times and could not figure out why I wanted a new reservation for one night. She finally comes back and said ok I made it the 12th and you still will have free dining and that was all. I was frustrated so I just hung up and called back a few minutes later and got someone very helpful on the phone. He confirmed I would have to make a room only reservation and did so. Now my only question is do you think I should worry about my package being messed up, I just checked online and it is all the same but not sure how long it would take to update. She did not give me a conformation number nor did she say how much extra it would cost. I will probably call tomorrow and just have everything confirmed to make sure, but was wondering how long it takes for reservations and updates to appear on the website.

Ah, was all excited to add an extra day at Disney, now im worried my package with free dining will be messed up.

I wasnt sure if it took awhile for everything to update in the computer. I keep checking online and the package seems to be the same but the new reservation is not up yet. So I thought maybe when that came up I would have given it enough time.

called back and had everything confirmed. While I was on the phone I had my tickets extended another day as well.. So now we can have even more Disney on this trip that was not suppose to happen until next summer. Have to love free dining!

With the connecting reservations now, I will still have to go down and re-check in correct. They said I would be able to keep the same room and to mention it to them when I arrive. If so, then I would pretty much be able to go re-check in any time then, just trying to get an idea for a schedule so we can re-adjust ADRs now!!
