Has anyone noticed if there is a significant amount of contracts put out for sale during different times of the year?

I was looking on the websites of resale companies and haven't noticed an overwhelming amount of contracts. Are there certain times of year things pick up in the resale market?

As annual maintenance fees come due in Jan/Feb, you generally see a relative increase in early December. Other than than, it's rather steady the rest of the year, although there are more contracts for sale now than I have ever seen. That can be contributed to two main factors:

1. There are more members than ever, so more resales are possible.
2. The economic downturn has caused members to reevaluate their luxury holdings.

Mr. Tom Morrow is correct. The Timeshare Store, Inc.® usually sees an increase of new listings the first part of the year. Currently we have 267 DVC listings for sale. We have had 300+ listings earlier this year.

I know that Disney forecloses on contracts in April/May. I was told that they let Fidelity resell some of them.
