Entertaining the idea of taking my son down to WDW in March. I would like to stay at WL.
So if we stayed from Sunday to checking out Friday morning the points per night would be-
14 per night at a Studio
which would equal 70 points total.
I just want to be sure I understand this correctly before I start looking to rent points.
Thank you for help in advance,

Yes it is 14 points per night in March and it is the WLV not the WL. WLV is connected to the WL.

Thank you for the clarification. :)

Some call them the VWL instead of WLV not to confuse you. You can get all the points situations at the top of this page-see where it says DVC Point Charts-just click it.

The only thing you haven't covered is that March has a lot of spring break activity and that DVC rooms may be pretty filled up. Also you are talking very little more than 30 days out and members have extra issues and risks if they make ressies in that 30 day window. What I'm trying to say is, that March may be a difficult rental at this late date, so if you intend to travel then, best start making arrangements pretty quick.

Come on, Pa. It's VWL, the Villas at Wilderness Lodge. The other DVC resorts are the the Boardwalk Villas (not the Villas at the Boardwalk), Beach Club Villas (not the Villas at the Beach Club). Hence BWV and BCV and not VBW or VBC.

True it *IS* the VWL, but in Pa's defense, many have referred to them as the WLV here on the DIS!

I think Pa was trying to *HELP* the OP, who needed clarification of VWL vs. WL, and he just pointed out the common usage of WLV (and even WVL) to the OP!!!!!

Here are a couple of *RECENT* examples.
