my wife asked him. he declined.
Ha. Slash was in our dining room and my sister (she's 16 but looks at least 18 or 19, thin, and got all the looks in the family) goes up to him and asks, "Can I ask you a question?" He rudely replies, "No." and continues walking away. He goes and sits at his table with his wife, who was inappropriately dressed the ENTIRE cruise (let's put it this way: she sat next to us during the Welcome Aboard show and we weren't too sure if her breast was going to pop out one side of her halter dress or the other

and the males in our group were quite disgusted by her appearance to say the least), at least one small child who was his son, a nanny, some other woman who we couldn't quite determine who she was, and another young child. This has my sister's attention now for the entire rest of dinner, how rude he was. She is not pleased. So as Slash is leaving the dining room, my sister, with the large set of cajones she has, shouts, "I just wanted to say thanks!" at him. Well he kinda smirks and comes over to the table and says, "Look, I'm sorry but I had my kids and they were getting out of control and I wanted to get them to the table for dinner." My sister says, "Oh ok, I just wanted to ask you a question." He was all, "Yeah..." And she says, "I just wanted to know if you were Slash from Guns n Roses." He just smiled at her but never really confirmed or denied. My whole table was hysterically laughing that it took a 16 year old girl to put some has-been rocker in his place. But he was still rude the rest of the cruise. In passing, my father said, "Hey, how're you?" and all he got was a gutteral response from Slash. Umm, hello? Without people like us, the lowly serfs that we are, he woulda never had a career right? Psh.
However, the guy from Boys II Men was supposedly really nice and my sister and her friend had a bunch of conversations with him without knowing who he was. Never saw the crown prince of Saudia Arabia, but our waiter said he got off the ship in one of the stops in Mexico because of some emergency

.
Go figure. It was an intersting cruise nonetheless and we all had a great time.
Oh and I did see Colin Mockery from Who's Line Is It Anyway? in World of Disney and the Pin Pavilion after the cruise. I just smiled at him to let him know I knew who he was, but didn't go up to him. However, some young people (ha I'm 20 and calling other people young!) were taking a picture with him later on and he seemed really nice about it.
It's weird. I've never seen celebrities in Disney before, and now this vacation was full of them. Weird...
