Hi, We are having a great time, today the weather was great for a sea day. We actually have a few celebrities on board, besides Slash there is the crown prince from Saudi Arabia, he is in the statetoom next to Chuck. I have also heard that a singer from Boys to Men is on board,as well as a rap star. I have seen them, but do not know their names.

We just had a group picture taken arranged by Chuck, it had a mixture of people from the DIS and other internet groups who all know Chuck.

Any cruisers sailing right now I have a huge favor to ask, I had a yummy drink onboard called the Green Pearl. I know it was Bailey's and Creme De Menthe but do not know the mix (ie, one part x to two parts y). If anyone knows or could find out I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Good to hear from you Denise! I hoe you continue to have a wonderful time!

Also wondering what he's wearing to formal night etc. Is he posing for pics, can you buy them at Shutters!!!?? Boy wouldn't that be a good blackmail pic? Slash and Mickey! I'm just curious as to why he chose Disney. Probably because that would be the last place his fans would be!! lol! Is he with family, kids, etc.? DH saw him at a bar in Cleveland this winter and was standing right next to him. He said he's pretty little, about 5'5".

I feel bad for people like Slash who are stereotyped like this. I'm sure he just wants to have some nice vacation time with his family...perhaps he doens't even drink alcohol but people just assume because he's in rock and roll, that he's an alcoholic. For instance, have you ever seen the VH1 special on Alice Cooper? The guy doesn't even drink -- neither does Dee Snider from Twisted Sister. Both are big family men but their public image makes them seem like booze hounds.

And as far as Disney being the last place his fans would be, DH and I have a family now but grew up in the 80s and 90s at the height of Guns n Roses and are big fans! We also happen to love his new band Velvet Revolver who have already had some commercial success. Oh, and we also love Disney!

I agree that Slash is probably just trying to have a nice family vacation and should be left alone.

However,unlike self professed tee-totler Dee Snider and recovering alcoholic Alice Cooper, Slash is still a fixture in hotel bars across the country, albeit not as much as he used to be.

Still, to be able to tell the story of sharing a beer with Slash on a Disney Cruise, woul dbe PRICELESS!

Andy and all thanks for the trip reports.....Myself and DW are heading to Bristol Tenn. for the NASCAR race Friday night and Saturday....Vette is full of gas and top is down.........

Oh...I'm not stereotyping. He is a HUGE drinker. DH just saw him in Cleveland a few months ago. Velvet Revolver was playing in town the next night and DH was at a Gilby Clarke show. It was sort of a mini-reunion w/ just about all the guys getting up and playing except Axl. Pretty cool! He said Slash was "bombed out of his (swear word) skull." As far as Alice, DH was backstage w/ him a few years ago and there was a big tub of beer and 2 diet Cokes. DH took one Diet Coke and Alice took the other. Gene Simmons and Ted Nugent also don't touch drugs or alcohol and never have. The reason I said DCL is probably the last place his fans would be is because there were already a couple of posters who said they would have no idea what he looked like. Honestly, Disney is the last place I think of when I think of Slash. No biggie. I also would never bother him if I saw him, but would also maybe "just happen" to get him in the background like some of the others are doing. Don't mean to highjack the thread. I'm really enjoying reading it!

Ok, just read today's blog and of course I have a few comments! LOL

- That picture of your plate at Palo is KILLING ME THIS MORNING! I love the stollen! Mmmmmm! And I love the shirt you wore to Palo, too, Andy...EB has the same one and it's one of my favorites!

- I can't blame you for buying so many photos of Angelina from this cruise. It's her special day and she's your special girl!

- I'm so glad you posted a couple of pics from the CAT3 -- that's what we have booked for our anniversary cruise next October and are so excited to stay in the suite!

- Your family photo is BEAUTIFUL! Everyone looks wonderful! I think that one is Disney Cruise Line frame worthy!

- I'm afraid to show EB the lobster and lava cake photos - his mouth will be watering!

Once again, you've outdone yourself. I hope you and the rest of the cruisers have the most magical and sunshine-filled day today at Castaway Cay!

Mel--I took that pic of the stollen bread just for you because I know how much you like it.

The husband of the couple that we shared Palo brunch with had the same Mickey shirt on as I did. I called him my twin brother, although he was about 6' 5" tall, it lloked like we were Mutt and Jeff standing next to each other, LOL!!!

Angelina and one of her friends went to see Invinsible at 12:01 this morning, I don't know how it was as I was sleeping when she got back to the room.

Time to go and get a lite bite before heading off the ship.

Andy the CD is now making an announcement, no can't get off yet, still waiting for local officials to approve debarking.
