Releasing NYE reservation today

I plan to call MS around 1:30 central time today to cancel one of my New Years week reservations. It's from 12/31 to 1/3, a studio at OKW. So if you're looking for accomidations at this time you might try calling shortly after I call and see. I'm wondering if anyone on this board will get the room? Post a reply if you do. I'm also going to try to add one night to my existing 2 - bed room reservation for 12/27. If any is interested I'll let you know what availability is there too.

Very nice of you to give people the heads-up on this.

When I saw your thread topic, I HAD to check it out. I'm still waiting for NYE in a standard BWV 2BR to come through. It's right in the middle of our stay, and we're really hoping we don't have to move around.

Haven't given up hope by any means. Your post reminds me that plenty of people change their plans, so maybe I'll get lucky.

However, assuming that all the OKW Studios for that time frame had already been reserved, then when you release yours, it will go to the first name on the waitlist.

You'll definitely make someone happy.

just calling now... closer to 2:00. Got tied up in my lunch meeting longer that planned. Don't know if you call now you'd get the ressie ahead of people on the waiting list... worth a try

I called earlier today and cancelled two nights at OKW studio - 12-28 and 12-29-03. We've decided to stay onsite at Universal for a couple days before checking into BWV on 12-30-03.

My waitlist for Jan. 1 for a 2 bdrm at BCV came thru yesterday. We were so excited! We never thought it would. So there is hope for that time of year. We had no problem getting the rest of the ressie from the 2nd till the 8th. Only night we were wait listed was the 1st.

Now I am thinking of calling and seeing if we came come in on the 31st. That would be pushing my luck, I guess
