We're doing a resort-only stay next month at Boardwalk, my kids are really into pin trading. We'll have a car. Because there isn't currently any resort-hopping, I was planning on making some ADRs at some of the other resorts just to be able to check them out. I'd love to plan this around resorts that have good a pin trading location. From what I understand pin trading is limited at the moment and might just be a pin board in the gift shop?

Sorry this is so specific, any info you can provide would be much appreciated!

I didn't see anyone at the YC when we were there first week in Nov. Hope you can get more info.

I was in the Mercantile at Fort Wilderness (last Thursday) and overheard a CM answer a guest question and there was a specific time window they were doing it at that day. Sorry that's not much help!

Interesting, thanks. That makes the planning even harder! :)

We stayed at CBR the week of Thanksgiving. There was a board outside of the gift shop every day. It was available almost all day, every day. My boys traded there almost each day of our stay. We visited the gift shop at AoA and they had a small board behind one of the registers. You could get to both of those resorts from the Skyliner. We visited nearly every resort along the Skyliner path. As long as you use Disney transportation you shouldn’t have any problem resort hopping.

We stayed at POP in late Sept and Everything POP had a trading "board". The CM would take pin off the board, wipe it down and hand it to you and do the same with the you pin you traded before placing it back on the board.

At the Meadow Trading Post at Ft. Wilderness, there was a sign by the cash register about pin trading times. I thought it was something like only 1 or 2 days a week, certain times, or at least not everyday. It was my last night there so I didn't pay close attention to the times.

Interesting, that makes it tough, thanks for sharing!

Beach Club has a pin board that is kept at the package pickup register. It is shown through the plexiglass barrier and you pick up to 2 pins to trade, put your traders into a bucket to be sanitized and the cast member will put your new pins on the counter for you to pick up. I believe you can trade pins most anytime of day, you just have to ask. The front desk used to have a pin book but not sure if they have a board now or ?

That's great to know, thanks!

We did some resort touring during our stay and there were pin boards at GF, Contemporary, YC, BC, BWV, and Saratoga. These were all in the merchandise shops. There may be others, but I know these resorts had one. They would let you look at the board, and ask you to put the pins that you wanted to trade into a bucket.
