I've received my third e-mail from them in the last few weeks with no discount offers. I have one saved trip for December on Disney's website and they want me to book (have a link in the e-mail). Without a healthy discount we can't stay on site. I consider this e-mail a tease. I know I have a saved vacation and I know how to go to the Disney website and book without a discount; I don't need a link to do it. If I get another similar e-mail I will remove my saved trip. I don't want e-mails without discounts from Disney Destinations.
I know there have been a few others reporting the same kind of e-mails. Here, on the DIS there doesn't seem to be too many pincodes flying around lately for the end of the year time with discounts. There are rumors of a mid August discount coming; I hope that's right.
I'm beginning to feel these e-mails are either the calm before the storm (a public discount offer coming soon) or the deals like free dining or 40% room codes have dried up. We shall see in August.

Also, mailings, DVD, maps, a welcome planning package with the monorail on the front addressed to my adult daughter at our address, and no pins! We booked a few weeks ago with a crappy 10% off pin and I have been hoping for a better offer but nothing has shown up.
They aren't going to give us one yet for 2012. I have a saved package for May 2012 but we aren't going until June. I just have it there to see if there is any price difference for when I am able to book BLT which I am hoping it will be by the end of next week. Fingers crossed.
I do have to say that last year, he was the one that received 2 different 40% pin codes. I signed him up and saved one vacation and boom, he receives the codes 3 days later. I was very, very grateful as we were able to use one for our June 2010 and the other I used for me and my DM for our mother/daughter trip in August 2010.
