I find the Salihis so hard to understand.
They have yet to say they are sorry, or as the Turners said, feel any shame.
They seem to be really good at going where they don't belong. And pretending to be richer and classier than they are. Which I don't mind in general. It's kind of Ferris Beuller-like. (They are a little old for that....)
Attending a State dinner without an invitiation is much more serious, and not cute. But, if as they say, they didn't lie about their names, and they were physically let in (didn't sneak through) I don't think it's criminal. THey shouldn't have been let in and it should be investigated how they got in, so that security can be improved. It shouldn't happen again. But I don't agree with the other housewives saying "make them make license plates" and "put them in jail!" I thought that was harsh.
Then again, I can totally see how Cat was so mad at them. If her association with them was what got her "uninvited" to the White House Christmas Party. Hmmm... was it really that or did Charles just not want to take her?
Of all the housewives cast, Stacy and Jason had the best attitude toward the Salihis, one of reason, and trying to find out what really happened. They treated them with the most respect, but were treated rudely in return, as the Salahis snuck out the back door.
Here is what I don't understand. Their whole facade seems to rely on not being too well-known, being able to fly under the radar, so none of their associates can compared notes. So, it seems to me that joining a reality show was the worst idea they could have. Because now they are rather infamous, and exposed for what they are.
I don't understand how anyone would go on a reality show expecting to hide any truth about themselves.
