Ready to make my reservation... but.....

Nope. I regularly get PINs and have always been booked. There was a thread on this very topic in the resorts forum started yesterday.

Even if that were true I'd rather ruin my chances of getting a PIN than ruin my chances of getting a reservation I wanted.

Made my reservation today! Let's hope for a promotion or PIN code before we go... I needed to pause for a moment, to catch my breath, after the sticker shock of rack rate...

IF a pin or discount determines the resort you are staying at ($$$) then I would hold off, especially if you are going at a time when you feel that there may be a discount. If you are absolutely willing to pay rack rate and you want a very specific room type at a specific resort, then I would book. If you are travelling at a time when there MIGHT be a discount, obviously it is not peak travel time and there WILL be a room at Disneyworld somewhere.

We're in the exact ame boat. Have booked room and tickets for February but not dining yet and HOPING for a free dining PIN. Or room discount, but free dining would be the best since all four of us are now "disney adults." Major jolt on the price after the last two trips when the kids were under 10.
