Hi Marita,

Just got home from the inlaws. Less noise and people then Christmas eve. Got some spending money from them and a huge gift basket of goodies from hubby's brother. My two kids are the only ones on that side so they are spoiled and played with all day.

Hubby got me a nice Christmas present. I finally got my diamond earrings I have been wanting for a long time. And a DVR which I have no idea how to work or set up.

Hannah loves her Baby Alive. She also got the cute Darla doll and a new born cabbage patch doll from my sister. Lots of dolls.

Nicholas got a DS lite so he is happy.

Lil'G-- You listen to your wife about no present..... She sounds like me I say that too but you better at least get me a card or something .

Sounds like everyone had a great Christmas. Not doing anything for New Year, I will be lucky if I stay up to midnight

Norah's Christmas $$ (from G'pa or "G'Diddy" we say in the hood) will be spent at Build a Bear for the white kitty.

Haley - We love the Wii too! My DS is now hooked on the Zelda game and I got a kick out of "riding the horse". Much better value IMO than the P3 IMO.

Good morning, friends! It was so nice to sleep in today!!! I woke up at 5:00, and watched a law & Order rerun then went back to sleep until 9:30!

U-ma, I got some B&BW cherry blossom stuff too. It smells pretty, but I can hardly smell it! Is it extra light or something? A new scent that a coworker got me was cotton blossom. I have always skipped right by that one when I'm in the store, but man, that stuff smells GOOD!!

Moo, glad you liked the movie too! Those old guys were cracking me up!! I was glad to see Dick van **** and Mickey Rooney get some work. They are awesome!

NAB, glad your DD liked her freaky Baby Alive!! Was it all she hoped it would be? Ainslee loves her Cababge Patch baby I got her. She only cries and PRETENDS to drink (makes sucking noises) but luckily she's satisfied!

I had something else to say, but I forgot.

happy Day after the Holidays. I am exhuasted .....I mean it....totally wiped out. Megara has not given us any "gifts" yet.....wonder where the thing went....
yesterday I woke up to hubby saying where is the other big can of Folgers coffee.......I said in the closet in the kitchen.......NOPE.....not there.......we had enough for yesterdays coffee and I knew the stores and Dunkin Donuts was closed so I panicked.......I had to have coffe this morning .....so I called DD and she brought over 5 large scoops for us to have today......hubby went to Walmart and got three more big cans so we are okey for a few months......good lordy.....no electricity or a broken coffee pot or NO coffee is enough to give anyone the shivers.....
We got another good gift ...before Christmas a Disney vacation and one in 140 days to Disney again.......I love those presents. I got some pampered chef stuff that I love......My chopper had a bent blade and I was afraid that it would not work anymore so Dil got me a new one too......Hubby and I got gift certificates to some neat places to eat........we love those .....
We had a beautiful meal yesterday and our two kids were here with spouses and four grandkids......and hubbies mom too.....we had a great day .......ONE MORE Christmas party to go and we will be done and the tree can go back into hiding......SO Saturday a day time fest at my house.....called and ordered the finger rolls and will think up the rest of the stuff to make as I go....hubby will make the BIG PIE.....and I will do a few more desserts for the heck of it.

Guess a lot of people are still out on vacation or on a post Christmas phase of some sort.

I was supposed to go back to work today, but I woke up at the bright hour of 9:50 am, so decided to just work from home today (translation, roll out of bed, brush teeth, get a cup of coffee, and voila, I am at my desk!) AND yes, I did work, last email sent about 8pm.

Personally, I am just ready for things to get back to normal. No NYE party planned here. Does anyone else have plans?

Moo-- I it is the lates gameboy. I think it came out almost a year ago. He is actually playing Brain Age and loving it. He said it makes math fun, didnt' think I would ever here him say that. Thought of you when my sister gave my Mom something red hat....can't remember what it was now.

Marita -- funny on the ticker. Hope you and Moo get to meet.

Haley -- you didn't break anything with the Wii controller did you. I heard people are getting so into the game that the controller comes off the strap in the heat of the moment. Some people cracked the TV screen others get black eyes from flying controllers be careful. You to Minnie.

I can report that it rained heavily on Christmas Eve, that'll be in the trippy. I can also report that it did thunderstorm on Christmas Day and that it was cooler that day than it had been all week. It was supposed to rain that Saturday as well, but it only spit for a few minutes. It was nothing major.

So far nothing broken, but I really can see how it happens. We need a new TY anyway We already ordered the new and improved straps for Nintendo (free, I love Nintendo).

We love Brain Age, it is fun. I am really good at counting the people in the house. Or I was. I stopped playing once I got a Brain Age of 24. It was a fluke and I didn't want it to lose it

Haley-- You are good at Brain Age. Nicholas first time score was 80 which was yesterday and now he is 70 I think. He is no longer walking slow I think he is on bike now. It is cool. To scared to see what my Brain Age would be

Christmas day was tornado warnings all day, and majorly carpy weather.

It'll be in the trip report but, yes we were in Epcot Christmas Eve when the heavens opened up quite suddenly. Christmas Day it really wasn't much of a factor as I hadn't planned that as a park day anyway.

Really we had great weather, with the exception of Christmas Eve. At least it cleared up that night though.

on sat...going to see santa...she was ..that there was not a single
