Merry Christmas everyone !!!!!!!!

Trying to get my new bluetooth enabled keyboard/mouse to work but no go so far. Tired and ready to pack it to try another day.

I have the week off work (dang smilies aren't working for me either otherwise just think dancing banana) so I plan on catching up on the house and playing with my new toys.

DF did an awesome job with a gorgeous Journey Diamond necklace and Armani perfume and DM shipped home some Disney Precious Moments from the Art of Disney on our last trip when DS and I were out on the rides so I got them as well today with some other very nice items. Totally awesome Xmas (big teeth smilie).

Oh my DS was over the moon with the Lego Mindstorm and the Wii. He was totally shocked when he opened them both. Loved that moment! Not too often I get to shock my teenager.

Off to help DF work on the new receiver I bought him from Best Buy. The air is starting to turn blue (eek).

I have a funny moment from yesterday. I got all excited opening this gift from DH. it looked like a robotic thing. I thought it was one of those robot vacuums that run around and do all the work for you. But no deal, it was a jewelry cleaner! For me, who wears practically no jewelry. And the same my daughter who lives in the same house just got!

I have a big, fat, Christmas hangover. Big one.

I got a Dyson Vacuum for Christmas (sensible gift, I'd say! I've wanted one for-EVER) and it SUCKS! ((LMAO smilie is broken???))

And for you craft mavens, I got a Cricut die cut machine. It is da bomb! I cant wait to play with it.

I am going to the Bath and Body Works 75% off sale today! Cherry Blossom is my favorite. Plus the Buttercream Frosting hand lotion is loverly. Got a $100 bill burning a hole in my pocket.

Norah's Christmas $$ (from G'pa or "G'Diddy" we say in the hood) will be spent at Build a Bear for the white kitty.

The boys are in desperate need of more Legos. Poor little dears. ((sarcastic eye rolling smilie)).

My DH will spend his Christmas $$ at Lowe's or Home Depot to buy basement supplies. He's finishing our basement and needs SheetRock next. Hel-LO craft room! ((Woo Hoo smilie))

Haley - We love the Wii too! My DS is now hooked on the Zelda game and I got a kick out of "riding the horse". Much better value IMO than the P3 IMO.

Anyone venturing out in the crowds today? I need to do :laundry: and I'm out of detergent so I have to go out

Good morning, friends! It was so nice to sleep in today!!! I woke up at 5:00, and watched a law & Order rerun then went back to sleep until 9:30!

U-ma, I got some B&BW cherry blossom stuff too. It smells pretty, but I can hardly smell it! Is it extra light or something? A new scent that a coworker got me was cotton blossom. I have always skipped right by that one when I'm in the store, but man, that stuff smells GOOD!!

Moo, glad you liked the movie too! Those old guys were cracking me up!! I was glad to see Dick van **** and Mickey Rooney get some work. They are awesome!

NAB, glad your DD liked her freaky Baby Alive!! Was it all she hoped it would be? Ainslee loves her Cababge Patch baby I got her. She only cries and PRETENDS to drink (makes sucking noises) but luckily she's satisfied!

We are leaving shortly to have Christmas with my DH's family this evening. My SIL wanted to have it on Christmas Eve when my family traditionally gets together, so I'm taking a bottle of Kahlua as a peace offering.

happy Day after the Holidays. I am exhuasted .....I mean it....totally wiped out. Megara has not given us any "gifts" yet.....wonder where the thing went....
yesterday I woke up to hubby saying where is the other big can of Folgers coffee.......I said in the closet in the kitchen.......NOPE.....not there.......we had enough for yesterdays coffee and I knew the stores and Dunkin Donuts was closed so I panicked.......I had to have coffe this morning .....so I called DD and she brought over 5 large scoops for us to have today......hubby went to Walmart and got three more big cans so we are okey for a few months......good lordy.....no electricity or a broken coffee pot or NO coffee is enough to give anyone the shivers.....
We got another good gift ...before Christmas a Disney vacation and one in 140 days to Disney again.......I love those presents. I got some pampered chef stuff that I love......My chopper had a bent blade and I was afraid that it would not work anymore so Dil got me a new one too......Hubby and I got gift certificates to some neat places to eat........we love those .....
We had a beautiful meal yesterday and our two kids were here with spouses and four grandkids......and hubbies mom too.....we had a great day .......ONE MORE Christmas party to go and we will be done and the tree can go back into hiding......SO Saturday a day time fest at my house.....called and ordered the finger rolls and will think up the rest of the stuff to make as I go....hubby will make the BIG PIE.....and I will do a few more desserts for the heck of it.

Guess a lot of people are still out on vacation or on a post Christmas phase of some sort.

I was supposed to go back to work today, but I woke up at the bright hour of 9:50 am, so decided to just work from home today (translation, roll out of bed, brush teeth, get a cup of coffee, and voila, I am at my desk!) AND yes, I did work, last email sent about 8pm.

Personally, I am just ready for things to get back to normal. No NYE party planned here. Does anyone else have plans?

ESO to everyone! Hello to Yak and Shell-bee - long time no see!!!

I'm back from our last Christmas gathering at my BIL's. Lots of hors d'oeuvres, then a lovely dinner and another batch of gifts.

The best part was that I didn't have to clean my house or host it! My daughter had some cousins to visit with, so it was all good.

Here's a pic for Pongo and Pumba of the dalmation that my SIL "inherited" after her father passed away. His name is Homer. He loves to open Christmas presents! He nibbles at the corners until he can rip the paper away. He's an old fella (12), so he got pretty tuckered out with all the excitement! He has lost 7 pounds since going to live with my SIL's family. No more people food . . .

Wish we had taken a pic of him helping with the present opening.

Here is a pic of my corgi, Teddy, snuggled under a towel after his bath the other night. He's an old fella too.

Only 4 more sleeps until Disney!!!!

I'm pretty excited. But first I have to finish out the work week.

At least I'm only working 7 hours each day.
