Well I don't know how "good" it is...
I got a rod, reel, tacklebox, and bait
As well as, my own phone...it was one of those clear ones where you could see the phone innerds.

Just what every teenage girl needs...a phone (of course), and a way to catch fish.

Couldn't tell you what I got for my 13th birthday. Except it WASN'T a phone. I never had my own phone. I did not spend hours on the phone like most teenage girls. I saved that little part of growing up for my 20s.

I got to wear blush and lipgloss for my 13th birthday. Then I went next door to borrow a cup of sugar. That's when Dick says he fell in love with me.

Not a day goes by that I do not think of one, many, or all of you while going about my day.

Today I thought of Mel. Sophia was reading "There's a Nightmare in my Closet" and I wondered if the Happyhaunts were also fond of that book.

I thought of all my Canadian buddies later because I had the jingle/song/psa "If you don't know what is, don't put it in your mouth, if you don't know what it is, don't put it in your mouth..." stuck in my head. We heard it a lot on TV while living in Nova Scotia and I wondered if they played that in other Provinces too? It was 8-9 years ago...

Ok so I can't sleep now anyway...

I sent my kids to bed hours ago and when I went to make sure the living room window was shut, I suddenly realized that I was standing in a massive puddle on my carpet.

I immediately think: Fish tank/s is/are leaking, but it doesn't seem to be coming from them...

The puddle isn't near them really, and if it were them there would be a puddle leading away from the tanks and toward the middle of the room. Not so.

So then I realize that one or more of my children must have done this just before bedtime and hoped that I would not notice.

So here's what I think happened:

Youngest decided to go the chilled water dispenser out of the fridge and fill his glass in the living room (why who knows). He must have dropped it and the lid popped off and the water poured out. Somehow, my normally bright young man, decided that I wouldn't notice all of this or concluded that it would dry before I knew about it. WRONG!

SO now we are going to have get the floor cleaner out and TRY to get the water up out of the padding. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
