Ohhhh....I saw. AND I watched. A bit.
But found it only mildly amusing. So I stopped.
The first 30 seconds are good(ish) though...


Well, I find the entire rock dj video pretty hysterical, really.
Did ya notice the buttons he has to push to get out of his little hole?
One says, "Robbie". The other, "MORE Robbie". Heh, heh.

The whole thing makes me giggle. Lots. Actually guffaw.
Especially the end when he ditches the deejay cuz she's vapid and boring.
And it's really beautiful...production design, camera work, lighting. Yum.
And a clever narrative to boot. Very, very.
Love it, love it, love it.

This video is actually what made me love the Robbie.

When my BIL was a kid, his family moved to a new house.

They hadn't been there for very long. When he got up one night and went to the living room. He pushed the coffee table, adorned with potted plants, over and then proceeded to urinate all over this mess.

They found him the next morning asleep in his bed and this mess in the living room.

So there ya go, aren't you glad that this hasn't happened to you?

I have no idea how to do a link, but this topic has been covered before and I can not stress how much I dislike NKOTB, even if they made me some sweet money in the late 80's, when I was a young teen.

Maybe Haley or Amy-GAcat could find my story.

Good morning everyone! A little treat today:

For all of our health-conscious lushes...

Subject: REC: Blueberry Daiquiris

2 cups blueberries
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
4 oz. rum
1/4 cup lemon juice
Cook blueberries,water and 1/4 cup sugar at a full boil,stirring,1 minute.Transfer to a blender and blend till smooth.Strain throgh a fine mesh sieve into a bowl,pressing hard on the solids then discarding them.Set bowl into a larger bowl of ice and water and let stand,stirring occasionally till cold,about 5 minutes.Fill a cocktail shaker 3/4 full of ice.Add blueberry syrup,rum and lemon juice and shake vigoriously 5 seconds.Add sugar to taste,shaking to combine,and strain into 4 (12 oz.) glasses filled with crushed ice.

The NM's have returned from a restful weekend in Hilton Head - very restful because there is nothing really to do there. But swim. And eat. And rest. Nice. I'll post a few pics and a little summary later - maybe.

Whew!! Lots going on here this weekend! YAY!!!!! Mel's TR is back!!! I can't wait to hop over there and read it. Mel, thanks for returning despite all the crap. You are a GREAT writer and it's good to see you'll be entertaining us for a long while.

ZZUB - Well, this all just makes me sad. If you aren't over here any more, you may never see this. But it's my only chance, so here it goes. I really will miss your wit, ZZUB. I loved seeing that little red wallet because I always knew something worth reading was behind it. I kind of feel like you are the one who started this experience for me - sending folks over to my TR when I started writing it. Which led me to see where the folks you sent were hanging out. It's been fun and I'm sorry you have to look upon this experience with any regret - feeling like someone took things a little too far. These kinds of relationships are a little weird. My "real" friends know my name - the names of my kids, where I live, what my husband does for a living, what I look like, etc. And yet it's dangerous for me to reveal these things to you all - who I feel are my friends also. I think that is what most of us feel - the pull between getting to know one another better and protecting ourselves. But because we can hide behind these cyber identities, and because folks we don't even know are there can also have all of these things revealed to them, we have to assume everyone here is not our friend. It's a sad reality.

Anyway ZZUB, thanks for the laughs. And the encouragement. And the fun. I hope you won't be a complete stranger. And I hope when the NM's return to the World and I post another TR, I'll see that little red wallet encouraging me and responding to my posts. Because it just won't be the same without you.

KPK, the sandal pledge is AWESOME!!!! As a resident of Georgia, we wear open toe shoes from March to October. And yes, those rules must apply. Nothing worse than a nasty set of toes. Have some pride, people.
