It is a bit farther down on the main page, or you can do like I prefer to do and click the 3 lines in the bottom right corner, then choose virtual queues.

Have you tried removing them on the app? I've had more success removing names on the app, compared to the website. Otherwise, you could phone tech support to get the names removed.
I had a successful practice round at 2 pm today.
if you arrive earlier they will make you drive around, you can't just wait at the toll plaza. Earliest to arrive I would say maybe 8:55am
I had the same issue as one of the five original people in our party decided last-minute not to come and we couldn't get her off of showing up on the party list on the ROTR BG page--even though we'd called to individually remove her from every dining reservation, parkpass/res, park ticket, and the resort. I called and was told it's because of the MagicBands! She was still actively linked to her band (and had previously been in our group w/ all our bands linked together) so would continue to show up there. The Castmember was reluctant to kill her MagicBand connection but I kept repeating that we couldn't have her name showing up on the ROTR list or we'd never get a BP--so she finally removed her. When we practiced the next day, she was finally gone, and was also not listed there on the day we were in the park--the other 4 ppl in our group were all preselected so we were all set. I'm so glad I called and insisted she be removed or we wouldn't have gotten on the ride! The next time we go to Disney we assume this 5th person will be back with us so the CM said we'll have to call back to have her re-added and will have to order her a new MagicBand--worth it to me to get that BP! : )
I waited on hold with Disney IT and gave up... chat in the website is not available... and chat in the app says "send a message and we will get to you" but the "send" button is grayed out... so I will try again in a few days and hope for better luck.
I posted a version of this earlier in the week in this thread, but since you asked... : ) We arrived @ HS around 9:20am & after a quick & painless temp screening, bag-check, & MagicBand tap, we immediately headed to MMRR & got in line. They started boarding for the ride @ 9:30. Of course, we boarded the ride (which is 4 mins & 30 secs long BTW) @ 9:56 so we were on the ride (toward the end during a particularly bumpy part lol) when the clock turned 10:00--but we had all been researching & practicing like crazy for days and managed to get BG 7! The family in the car behind us also got one, not sure what group. Our two cars all went bananas for the last 1-2 mins of the ride, "illegally" half-standing up and high-fiving/fist whomping the air/yelling at the tops of our lungs, etc, I don't even remember the end of the ride!
Got off the ride @ 10:02, went over to GE, our BG was called, & we basically walked on ROTR. Went on MFSR right afterward, wait for that was bout 30 mins. Couldn't believe we were on & off these 3 rides by 11am.
Is this still an issue now that is automatically checks the box for those in your party that are scanned into the park? My daughters best friends family is traveling at the same time as us next week, and I was going to link up for photopass, but they aren’t going to HS...I will wait until after our HS day to link up if it’s still causing problems, but I thought that was “fixed” when the boxes started getting checked automatically.
I am under the impression that everyone who is linked together will show up in your party and hence on that list on the ROTR/BG page. If all those people are tapped into the park, they'll all be preselected/checked off for the BG. If they're not all in the park, you're going to get the note that says "Hold up, is everyone in your group in the park?" etc and then taking too long to deal with that, you won't get a BG. At least this was what was explained to me on the phone last week w/ the CM, and she cited the MagicBands as the culprit--which is why I wasn't able to remove the person myself in the MDE app (a Guest cannot kill a MagicBand I guess) and why I insisted that the person be separated from her MB and be removed from our party by the CM. I (or the CM ha ha) could be wrong so if anyone else knows better feel free to chime in, but this is what I understood as it related to our situation.
(And, most importantly, it worked as she was finally removed, the 4 of us were automatically checked, and we got a BG!)
