Is it the first tap or second tap that matters as far as the closure of the grace period?

My understanding with LL is that there is zero grace period. It is 1 hour exactly and from the first tap point.

To add - last week they wouldn't let us in one minute before the clock showed our return time. We stood around a few entries every day.

There are a lot of reports of the grace period being the same as FP+ (in the strategies post there is discussion of stacking during the grace period and then using the LL).
