I'm glad your day worked well. Thought of you and hoped Christian was feeling better. Raining off and on here today. Don's parents have been here. His brother drove them. It is about a 2 hour drive. They visited about 3 hours and headed home. That makes a long day for them. I was so glad they came.

I would choose DS if I had one. I have the older one because my fav game is DR. Mario. I think Sandi said they make if for DS now so I might break down and get it.

Poor little Ashton is suffering from a bad cold; I think it is breaking up when I picked him up from my mom's last night he sounded the worst so far. Usually, means we are on the tail end...this was a farewell gift from the little girl that I was watching. Today is her first day of Pre-K3!! hope she enjoys it, although her mother was an immature inconsiderate person; we still love chloe and will miss her and wish her well.

It is now 9:50 and I'm just getting ready to leave for work. Yep it is a late night for me. I am working both late nights this week for Christine. I will pay work bills and write paychecks today. The advantage of working in a small office we don't have to wait till Fridays to get paid. Christmas is better. We get our bonus, pay check then pay check for the end of the year all before Christmas cause he takes that last week off. We have to work but we are not busy at all.

Don't work too hard.

Mel, I guess I was lucky when I recieved a bonus. It was take home $450 the doctors would pay both theirs and our taxes on the bonus!

Don used to get $15.00 with taxes out. Why bother? The first year we lived in this house I took it and put hardwood floors in the kitchen, dining, living room and hall. The next year we bought a new stove and last year we took the cruise with everyone. It was enough to pay for everybody. Who knows this year. I know I can find a way to spend it for sure.

It is hard not to giggle just a little when they talk that way. There is nothing wrong with that just do it quietly. They hate it when you make fun of them. When Austin was 4 he had his 2 front teeth removed (due to a kajillion antibiotics when he was born) he really struggled with a lot of words. We all laughed. Sometimes out loud.

Don't you just love it when they get sick and want to cuddle? Not that we want them to get sick, but the older they get, the less they want to sit with mom and be held. It's nice to have an excuse to get close for longer than a minute or two!

Wow. That's wonderful to get a bonus where they actually pay the taxes on it for you. Now, that's what I call "the right way to give a bonus!" My DH got a really, really great bonus not too long ago, but the taxes ate most of it. NO FAIR! But, that's the way it goes.

I am thinking of spending ours on Christmas this year. Just making whatever I get the limit as to how much I will spend. I say that every year, though. This time I'm going to stick to it!

I am sure I'll have a place to spend it several times over for sure. I really want to take Don to Alaska on a cruise next year. So I might use it to book that. I have enought points on my credit card for the cruise. I have to do air and stuff. They are not cheap.

Hey girls. I just have a couple minutes before I have to get Christian, but I thought I should say hi. I don't seem to get here often enough.

As far as bonuses are concerned, we don't get one at all. Matt doesn't get one (he used to get quarterly bonuses with Purafilter, but the hospital doesn't give any kind of bonus-I think they get a Honeybaked Ham GC for $25). I miss them because he got them with both Pepsi and Purafilter, but not now. And of course I'll never get a bonus as a teacher, even when I do finally get a job. Oh well.

I think an Alaskan Cruise sounds like a great idea Ginny! I'd like to go to Alaska someday. Matt was born there, but doesn't really remember it. I think he was 2.5-3 when they moved to Nebraska (we're both military brats).

Mel, I haven't read about the birthday, but I'll go check it out in a few. Space sounds fun, though.

Connie, I hope Ashton is feeling better. Christian was sick over the weekend, but seems fine now except for a runny nose. Something seems to be going around. My friend's 4 year old had a temperature on Thursday but was fine Friday except for the runny nose. I guess it could be worse.
