Thanks! The photo screen will eventually come down here to our apartment, but there wasn't room in the car to bring it back this time. I wish I had gotten a picture of the car before we unloaded it, it was packed!

Hey Rach,

I just wanted to ask you as a fellow escape bride if you were doing anything after your ceremony as far as a meal goes. We're trying to figure out our options so i thought i might ask ya.

It was a fantastic time! The games were fun (and not cheesy) and the cake was amazing!

As far as post-wedding meal, we aren't doing anything with all our guests. We're letting everyone go back to their resorts, change clothes and do whatever till we have to meet up for our desert party. Chauncey and I are going to change clothes ourselves and have dinner together in Epcot, hopefully either LeCeiller (first choice!) or Tutto Italia (backup choice). Our planner is going to try and make ADRs for us so we'll find out at the 90 day mark where we'll be eating our first meal as a married couple :thumbsup2

Ohh looks like you had a blast at your shower, I love your "shower crashers" too lol! I wonder if you'll have any wedding crashers lol!

Also, I am sorry to hear about your dog, my heart goes out to you, that is a hard loss.:sad1:

Man where do I start with the updates? Well let's start with today which is/was ADR day! I got up @ 5:40am so that I could be at the computer by 6 to use the online system. Man was it super easy! We're splitting our stay between Pop and POR with the dining plan (QS @ Pop and regular DP @ POR). I was so excited when park hours came out last week and my schedule was right (I had based it on last years hours). So here's what we got for our ADRs:

-Tutto Itallia (this will be where we eat in between the wedding and our desert party....we really want Le Cellier but right now that's not happening, but I'm going to keep trying :rolleyes1 )

-Crystal Palace breakfast (this is a staple of every WDW vacation)

-Sci-Fi Dine-In

-1900 Park Fare dinner

-Tony's Town Square

We're also doing the CP with dinner at the Biergarten but I can't book it till Friday when our second ADR window opens up. The online system let me do 90+10 (based soley on the Pop ressie number even though it's a 5 day ressie) but when I called the lady I talked to said her computer won't let her do that :confused3

Anywho, for those who might be wondering Perdy's still hanging in there. She had some blood work done and they said she's rebuilding red blood cells which is great news (it's almost like being in remission) but she's still struggling. However it looks like she'll be hanging on for a while longer :thumbsup2

In better news, Chauncey and I are in the processes of moving into our apartment as we speak. His parents came down and have been helping us along with my mom. Pretty much everything is in and now all we have to do is organize it :laundy: I'll post pictures once is presentable :lmao:

I think that's it for now. I'm still waiting on our estimate from Rosie, once it get that I'll post our BEO.

90 days!

Hey girl! How are you?! Wow . . . things are REALLY starting to happen for us, aren't they?

I'm so sorry to hear about Perdy, but glad to hear she's doing better. I'll keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

Your shower looked like LOTS of fun. The "crashers" were just adorable, and that cake was amazing! If it tasted half as good as it looked . . . :thumbsup2

I was right there with ya' this morning making ressies. I don't think I've ever spent so much time planning meals, and probably never will again. A little birdie told us that the online dining reservation system rolls over at 3 AM Eastern Time each night (which is 2 AM our time), so we set the alarm for 1:50 AM. And, sure enough, at 2:01 on the dot, the dates appeared on the little popup calendar. We were able to book our smaller reservations online, then called the Group Dining number at 5 AM our time to try to accommodate the large groups. We got everything we wanted, but there were two large group events that Group Dining couldn't book for us - a Ladies' Brunch at Grand Floridian Cafe for the morning and a "Pre Wedding" Dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse. So, we broke those up into smaller groups and booked those online using several resort confirmation numbers, and we have left voice mail messages to the restaurant managers to see if they can merge those events into one large group. I don't see it being a problem. It's not like those are "high demand" restaurants, and early December is a pretty quiet time at the mouse's house. Even with the Pop Warner competition going on, those don't seem to be the places that kids and teenagers will flock to. So we'll see . . . but nobody will go hungry, that's for sure!

So excited you got most of the reservations you wanted. Definitely keep trying for Le Cellier if that's what you want . . . you never know when it might open up. I'm sure there will be some cancellations ;)

Have a great Labor Day and keep us posted!

your shower looks so fun! Love the uninvited guests, what a hoot! :lmao: That cake was gorgeous! :lovestruc

Glad your ADR's went well. I haven't tried the new online system yet, but it's nice to hear about how it works from other people. I know you are still hoping for Le Cellier, but Tutto is our favorite restaurant in Epcot and we liked it better than Le Cellier. The food was awesome, so I think you'll have a great time either way. :thumbsup2

So sorry to hear about your dog but glad she is doing a little better. Lots of warm wishes for her recovery.

Only 90 days left! :goodvibes

Man oh man how a couple of days can make all the difference....

Let's start with the ugly: My BFF (the one who's doing the orange and pink wedding), her DF decided a couple of days ago that he's not ready to get married and has called it off....3 weeks before the wedding! I won't get into any details, but as you can imagine she's devastated. There's still a chance he might change is his mind, but right now my top concern is being there for my friend. So if you could send some P&PD her way I'd really appreciate it.

Now the bad: Perdy had a bit of a relapse of the weekend, she's having problems keeping her blood pressure up and the vet can't seem to figure out why. So they've playing with her meds and we'll just have to wait and see.

Now for the good! We have the best wedding planner ever! I don't know how she did it, but we are now eating at Le Cellier on our wedding night! :cool1: Also, DF's mom has offered to do our floral for the wedding. She put together the bouts over the weekend when she was here helping us move:

She took the rest of the supplies back home with her to work on the bridesmaid bouquets and my bouquet, but once they're done I'll post pics.

That's it for now....I promised pics of the new apartment so I'll finish out my post with said photos!

First.... that is terrible about your poor friend.... P&PD will definatly be headed her way!

Second... your poor puppy. I hope the change in meds works for her

and third... your floral looks awesome! Your FMIL did an amazing job and i can't wait to see the bouquets! And the apartment looks awesome! I love your view!

Rachel I am so sorry to hear about your BFF...definitley sending P&PD!! Sorry to hear about Perdy too...

But you do have some good things going on. I love the bouts!!! I adore peacock feathers!!! And lucky girl...Le cellier!!! WHOHOOO!!!:cool1:

Thanks for all the P&PD for my friend, it's pretty much a given that her wedding won't be happening as planned. She's still upset but she's getting stronger too. I'm still planning on being off work like I was for her wedding and hanging with her since I know when the day comes it'll be tough.

This isn't gonna be a long post, but I thought I would share...Perdy passed away last night. She had some more strokes and the vet determined that the treatments weren't working so we decided to let her go. So now she's no longer in any pain and at peace. My mom is devastated, Perdy was her princess (since I refuse to be one ;) ) But we know she's in a better place now....
