R&C or 9 Dragons?

Trying to decide between these two for our trip in September. Would really appreciate everyone's opinions. I want to eat at a WS restaurant that we haven't been to before. That removes Le Cellier, San Angel, Bistro, Biergarten, and Teppanyaki from the list. My mother and sister both will not go for Morroccan, they've had it before and didn't like it. We're already going to Chef's de France for one meal (sister's choice). And we plan to do a Princess breakfast, so Norway doesn't appeal.

This is my choice for the trip and I'm tied between these two. Can all you DISers help me out?

I'm sure you'll get a few different opinions on this, but you're asking for help between two completely different types of food! It really depends...do you prefer Chinese, or do you prefer fish & chips/bangers & mash?

I'd go with whatever the consensus is between those choices.

That's the heart of the problem, I love both cuisines, no real preference. That's why I'd love to know other's experiences, to help me make a better decision.

I won't be any help - we like both equally well.

We find the food at Nine Dragons to be of high quality, the service is quiet and polite, and the atmosphere is beautiful. The tables do tend to be close together, though.

Rose and Crown has basic, non-fancy food, great hard cider on tap , and cheerful and friendly service. It's nice for lunch or dinner, sitting outside on the patio.

Our experience with the Chinese restaurant is that it is just that. Nothing special or different from my local Chinese place, except for the price $$$$

The Rose and Crown, on the other hand, offers something different from what I can get here in Central PA.

So if you are looking for a good and different food experience, I'd go with the Rose and Crown.
