Quiet Pools?!?!?

I'm a Disney resort newbie. Can someone tell me what the heck a "quiet pool" is? Thank you.

A quiet pool is basicly a pool with no slides, or waterfalls, or other activities. It's your basic pool.

Thank you! I was wondering why they were calling it a quiet pool. I envisioned a no talking rule or something like that.

Last trip to VWL my 3 year nephew told me he wanted to go to "The Talking Pool". I had no idea what he ment until he said you know not the quiet pool.

My dh and I notice that is more an adult type atmosphere at the "quiet pools" probably as someone said.... the kids most definitely like the larger themed pools with the cool slides and stuff. Although we don't have kids we tend to like the cool slides too!
