Quick Service at Epcot Resort

Still deciding on a resort... so one more question... does the YC, BC, and Boardwalk have a quick service? We stayed at the Poly last time and did use Captain Cooks often since it was so easy with two little ones.

The YC doesnt, the BC does but it isnt that large or great a selection and the BW Bakery is the same, just bagels, muffins, pastries and cold sandwiches.

The Poly has the best food court!

The Dolphin is just a short walk away and has Picabu's with ready made items, cafeteria style food and a grill, and convenience store items. No matter which Epcot resort we stay at, we usually end up going to Picabu's a few times each visit.

I don't understand why they didn't include CS in the Epcot resorts like AKL,WL, Poly, CR and GF! It's the one think making me hesitant staying there. We like to go down esp for breakfast for some eggs, etc. And evening snacks! Lunch for us is usually at a cs at a park, and dinner usually a TS somewhere.

The lack of counter service at YC is my biggest complaint about staying there. Even if they had just a cart with coffee and pastries for breakfast it would be something we can run down and grab in the morning without having to trek to BC. Opening Hurricane Hannah's for breakfast is another idea.

I put that complaint in my survey when I got it. Hopefully if enough people complain they will make a change.

Definitely the worst thing about the BC is the lack of a good CS but I think it's because it's so close to WS and BW where choices abound. It didn't really affect us as we don't use it for breakfast and we did some good sandwiches to take with us on the plane the last day to use up our CS credits but not much choice thát's for sure. We did have lunch around the pool from HH a few times and that was good. If our kids were smaller it would have definitely been a different story.

The bar in the lobby of the YC does serve what you want....pastries, fruit, coffee.

OP, the BC Marketplace offers hot egg and cheese croissants. They also serve to die for yogurt parfaits which are made to order with tons of berries. But nothing like the selection at the Polynesian. There is a small grocery section though if you want to buy things like cereal and milk for your children.

Good salads and sandwiches for lunch. Hurricane Hannah's by SAB serves great cheeseburgers and a few other things.

Wow, we missed that. Thanks for the info!
I Wonder if you can take it to go?

I think most people do. I didn't see anyone sitting at the few tables last weekend but there were quite a few people in line.

The BC Marketplace has chocolate chip croissants that are more like dessert than breakfast, but when we're on vacation, who says you can't have dessert for breakfast anyways?

We were able to find plenty to eat for breakfast and snacking at the BC Marketplace.
