Quick question...what date does free dining start in August?

Sorry...I've glanced around and haven't found it exactly. Is it August 13th or 20th? Those dates have both popped up. Have a friend staying at Grand Floridian and she had never heard of this...would like to help her if it's beginning the 13th. She could at least call and try to get in on it. Thanks!

If you booked during the original promotion period (by June 4th), that code was good for check-ins begining on August 13th through the end of September.

When the deadline for 'free dining' promotion was extended, to allow for booking up to June 25th... that 'new' offer was announced as applying to stays begining on August 20th through end of September.

If your friend's intention is to begin her stay prior to the 20th, she may or may not still be able to take advantage of this promo. Her best bet may be to call Disney directly, ask to book the 'free dining' promo, and see what they say. Maybe she will get a little pixie dust.

Actually not true. They changed the date in the promo material because they were advertising values being available. There were no values available from the 13 to the 20th. I just booked the Aug 14 to aug 21 at CSR without any problems, yesterday.
