Quick military and MDE question

Hey guys! This April DH and I are taking the whole family, 9 of us, and this is the first time in 3 years DS, a Marine, is able to go! Here's my question. He is getting 6 military tics. Are we able to assign them and add to MB just like regular tics? TIA
