Questions I Ponder

Nobody has mentioned Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Adventures. Maybe nobody watches it cuz it's full of bugs?? We know that Miss Spider is kind and has adopted some buggies that aren't spiders, but don't spiders eat bugs? How can all these bugs live together without wanting to munch on each other? :confused3 Are you telling me that Miss Spider is perfectly happy eathing acorns?!

Miss Spider is known far and wide and being kind to other bugs. (Check out her first book.) Now Spiderus Rex once captured Ike....

Dragon Tales - where are these kids parents? Don't they know that their kids are missing from their rooms for long periods of time? And do they ever play anywhere but their room? :confused3
In the book and the very first epi of DT, when they first moved into the house and found the special box with the stone, you learn that no time goes by at all while they are in Dragon land, kind of like in the Chronicles of Narnia :)

What a fun thread. I am utterly frustrated by these things as well LOL

And just who are Huey, Dewey and Louie's parents?

Huey, Dewey and Louie's mom is Donald's sister Dumbella. Not sure about the father, though. I don't think he's ever mentioned.

Okay - why doesn't someone take Curious George away from the man in the yellow hat? He always disappears just when George is about to ruin someone's livelihood. Then, he shows back up and no one gets on his case about neglecting his monkey.
It always bugged me that George never really got punished. OK so he had to have surgery to get the puzzle piece out but he usually got away without punishment.

I always wondered about DT and why the parents never seemed to notice that their kids were gone. Now I know. :thumbsup2

Thank you. Boy, that's one less thing off my mind.

And yet...do they have fathers? Or are things different on Planet Disney? You never know.

Planet Disney - there is always one parent missing-

Little Mermaid - no mother
Cinderella- no father only a stepmother
Toy Story- Andy has no Father
ETC.

This has always bothered me!

How come Max (Goofy's son) grew up to be a college-age dog-thing, but none of the other 'kids' (H,D &L, for example) never did?

TOV

Where are Max and Ruby's parents? They are sleeping upstairs. They are a CPS case waiting to happen.

Why does Little Bear wear no clothes, but his parents do? It is like some religions. You don't have to adhere to the clothing standards until you hit puberty.

Why does Franklin have a name, but all the other animals are just Bear, Fox, Rabbit, etc? Because Franklin is the star and stars don't just get called "Turtle". That would be absurd.

Why is Diego's sister now named Alicia, instead of Daisy? I have no idea on this one. I didn't know his sister was ever named Daisy.

I just thought of something else. In the movie, there is a hint of some sort of relationship beyond that of friendship between Tumnus and Lucy. Does that mean Tumnus gets the hots for Lucy when she grows up? :confused3

TOV

Cinderella's father died. This is covered at the start of the movie.

"After the untimely death of this good man however, the stepmother's true nature was revealed......."

when filburt (the turtle) and his unnamed wife (the hook handed cat dentist) on rocko's modern life had children why were they winged cows (looked allot like 'heifer' to me  )?

His wife's name was Dr.Hutchinson (not sure of her first name though.) I'm not quite sure why some of their kids were cows, but they were so cute!! I have always loved Rocko's Modern Life. One of the best animated shows ever.

Sometimes I sits and thinks, and sometimes I just sits.....

In the episode of Dora where they have to take the shoes and tiara to her cousin Daisy for her Quinceanera , they run into Diego, who is introduced as Daisy's brother and Dora's cousin. Perhaps he has 2 sisters, but if so, Alicia was not invited to her sister's Quinceanera. Family issues, perhaps. :confused3

Princess Aurora had both of her parents!

How come the puppets on LazyTown told Robbie that his puppet wasn't real??

And who is this Miss Lori on PBS and why is she interrupting my shows?

I don't remember that from the books! :earseek: But now that you mentioned it...there is something kind of squicky about their "connection" :scratchin

Yes, one animal rescuer in the family is plenty. That is why Alicia lives in a treehouse. She has been ousted.
