2. Is the Hungry Bear Restaurant open all the time now? On our last trip I'd planned for us to eat there, but it was closed.

1. Can you get free cups of ice water at CS windows at Disneyland?

Yes, always. The size may vary though. And I recently found out you can get hot water as well. A CM told me alot of people do this and bring their own tea bags-I now do this too! (Especially after paying $2.69 for a hot tea on a very cold night)

2. Is the Hungry Bear Restaurant open all the time now? On our last trip I'd planned for us to eat there, but it was closed.

Free ice water and hot water....we often would get hot water and bring packets of cocoa for the kids to make hot chocolate for the fireworks....hot tea for me too!

The coffee stands will give you hot water as well, or at east used too...

I spoke with Disney Dining today & asked about the Hungry Bear Restaurant being open when we're there March 7-14. She said they don't have the schedules for the quick service restaurants until about a week ahead of time. So she was not able to even hint one way or the other......
Hope they are open....we're planning on meeting a special friend there on one of our days......

I believe that would stand for Counter Service as in counter service rather than sit down places to eat.

Thanks, ladies!!! The hot water thing is a good tip! Last time we were there my younger son was freezing after the sun went down. I think I'll toss a packet or two of cocoa mix in our fanny packs, just in case!

Here's hoping the Hungry Bear is open for all of us! If it's not open while we're there I guess we'll eat at the Golden Horseshoe. I'm trying to figure out a way to work meals in without bringing a complete halt to our day. I guess I'll call a week or so before we leave. Hopefully they can give me the info then.
