Questions about AP

I'm looking for some more info on annual passes such as:

Do they give AP rates for Value & Regular seasons?

What would a typical Room rate savings be?
I'm curious to know for example what would the AP rate for the Wilderness Lodge be?

Any previous rate info available anywhere?

Also, how many times of the year do they give these AP rates?

Never considered AP until the DIS boards. Might be something to look into if the savings is right.

Check on Mousesavers.com . They have most of the information posted there about APs that you are looking for.

I have my first and last AP. It has been nothing but a headache waiting for rates to come out. My Mickey Moniter was a bit of a joke, and it seems from what I read on this site that Disney wants to do away with room only booking and book packages! Also, there is some sort of change in booking PS now w/o packages. The list goes on and on.

If you can visit WDW once a year - you can generally get at least 2 days out of your AP just by bumping your 2nd trip up by a week. If you spend 8 days or more in the parks, I believe the AP breaks even. We were able to get AP rates in December during the value season. I believe it was around $130/night at the WL last December. (Not positive I'm remembering this correctly.)

You can also get a discount on some lunches and at the big shop at Downtown Disney.

There are frequently discounts of 40% off many different resorts. We are actually considering renewing our AP's this December so that we can go back in January & December 2004. Hope this helps!
