I'm so frustrated right now and need to vent and have a question answered.:headache:
A little background - we went for free dining last year and loved it. Promised to get our parents down this year since it was a good value. Long story short, nobody else wanted to work their schedule around the free dining window so we opted to just do an extended family trip in December for Christmas lights.
Got all the ADRs booked for a party of 8 (or 6 depending) and now my dad may not be going (long and crazy story on that).
Do I need to call and re-do all my ADRs now? Can I just show up minus one member, will they still seat us? What's Disney's policy?:confused3

Just go as they are booked...arrive apologetic "one will not be joining us." I think most folks have done it at some point. Disney would like it rebooked by it's not really going to make a difference in the size of your table to be minus one person.

Go, enjoy, don't worry about it.

Don't worry about it. Due to changing their flight, my Dad & Stepmom didn't arrive in time to go to our first 2 ADR's. We just told the hostess when we checked in that 2 of our party weren't able to make it, we were seated without any problem :goodvibes

Do not worry about it at all. Just tell them when you arrive that you will have one less than originally planned.

I think it would matter if you were, say, 2-3 people short of your original ADR, but I don't think 1 person will matter.

Being 7 of 8 when you show up (or 5 of 6) wouldn't make a difference in the table you are sitting at for almost all of the ADRs, since tables are usually 4 or 6. Don't worry about it. :)
