Question from a DING "First Timer"

May be a silly question to some...yet are people with DING fares also able to print out boarding passes online 24 hours in advance?

I don't think having a Ding fare has anything to do with the checking in and printing boarding passes ahead of time. This is our 3rd year flying with them, and I am positive I had a Ding fare in the past (plus we have them for this year) and was able to print out the boarding passes ahead of time.

Someone please, correct me if I am wrong.

So if you do this 24 hours in advance you can choose your seat location?? I hate to fly and have never flow SW, but looking for an August trip. But I don't want to be stuck in the back of the plane. We used the 24 hour check-in with AirTran and we were able to select our seats, is it the same with SW??

if you check in at 24hrs you should get an A boarding pass. This lets you board after the preboarders. Then B and C boarders follow.
When you board you can then pick your seats anywhere you want.

SW does not do assigned seating.
