We are planning a trip for this May. It will be my family, and my wife's parents. So we want two rooms. Now, my wife and I are AP holders, so we will probably be booking both rooms in my name with an AP discount. My question is, can we get UPH's for everyone in the second room, or would everyone in both rooms on the reservation have to have an UPH?

Thank you very much!!!

When I called with the same dilemma, I was told everyone would have to get UHP. Of course we chose not to do that.

If you purchase uph's in advance or book a package that includes passes, you do have to purchase them for everyone listed on the reservation. If you wait until you arrive, you don't.

We have just one room, but we're taking 2 people that don't have AP's and 3 that do. I was told that we'd have to purchase uph's upon arrival. I don't have any experience with booking more than one room with an AP discount, but regardless, if you wait until check-in, those with AP's are excluded. Of course we're losing the discount we would get from purchasing in advance.

Another UPH consideration:

If you buy UPH tickets in advance, you must buy them for both your arrival day and your departure day. If you are arriving too late on the first day to go to the parks, or leaving too early on the last day, that can be a concern.

If you buy UPH at check in, most CMs will allow you to drop either the first or last day (and sometimes both) from the UPH ticket. That can make up for not getting the advance purchase discount.
