Question for the experts: 2 bedroom + studio?

We are looking to rent points for a Jan 2007 trip. There are 3 families total traveling. We were looking at the 3bd OKW Grand Villa but OKW would not be our first choice (we are considering it only because of the lower point cost as I'm sure many do). We would rather stay at BWV or WLV.

My question: could you rent 1 two-bedroom villa and 1 studio in order to (sort of) make your own 3 bedroom place? I understand you would likely be told that they can't guarantee that the studio would be close to the two-bedroom (ideally of course it would be right next door and/or connecting, if they even offer that configuration).

I also notice that WLV offers a "dedicated" 2 bedroom vs BWV which has a 1 bedroom w/a connecting door to make a "two" bedroom. So would WLV have a 2 bedroom villa next to a studio? Or are all 2 bedrooms set aside in their own "area"?

This is our first time looking into the DVC resorts and any help/advice you can offer is appreciated. Thanks! :sunny:

Yes, VWL will have some dedicated 2BR villas adjacent to or at least nearby a studio- but none will connect to the 2BR villa. You can certainly reserve a 2BR and Studi and request that they be nearby.

Good luck! :)

We had a family group going a couple of years ago and reserved a 2 bedroom and two studios. They were all on the same floor, same corridor and pretty much every other door. We all had reasonable privacy and just ambled down the hall to see each other. We used the 2 bedroom as headquarters for evening snacks and planning, etc.

In December we had a dedicated VWL studio, and it was a short distance from a dedicated 2 bedroom. That 2 bedroom had it's door along the railing overlooking the lobby area, and we were in the first room down the hall. We were passing along the VWL Christmas tree, and had never been in either sort of dedicated villas at VWL, and they were both very nice.

This upcoming trip we have 1 dedicated 2 bedroom and 2 studios, I hope we're nearby, but VWL isn't really that large, so it's not a big deal to us.

Bobbi :)
