Hi All,
Please feel free to laugh at my dumb questions :lmao:.But i cannot for the life of me remember if me+hubby sign our park tickets now or do we have to do it the first time we enter a park in front of someone?.

Also there is a space on our childrens tickets for them to sign, surely they don't have to sign they are only 7 and 4 :confused3.

Also on our orlando flextickets it says guest signature+guest id required-does this mean we will have to show our passports-and if yes can it be just a laminated copy of the backs of our passports,as i don't wish to carry around our originals?.

Sorry about my silly questions, but its been a long 5 years since our return :rotfl:.Thanks everyone.x.

I have just come back and I never had to show ID even when the finger thing wouldnt work for me!!
As for signing my hubby signed his and I signed all the others - just wrote the right names on the guest name bit if you see what I mean and I never had a problem! Nor did I see anyone having to show Id.
Hope that helps a bit !

We signed our tickets once we exchanged our vouchers at MK :goodvibes

Youngest DD (8) wrote her name on the back of her ticket, just because we'd all signed our's ;)

Did you print your name or was it your proper signature you used(that you would use for signing cheques etc..).Thanks both of you.x.

I did my proper signature - figured if i was asked to sign it would at least be accurate!!

never had to sign disney tickets, only the universal flex ticket think we had our drivers licence for id. quick tip photocopy back of tickets with barcode and keep in safe.if you lose them they cancel the old ones and isue new ones from this info, saves heartace,we also store them electronicaly and can acsses them with iphone if we have to at the gate

I'm fairly sure a laminated copy of the passport would be OK, we did have to show ID last time at Universal and Seaworld though not sure if that's the case for 'real' tickets (ours were etickets which we'd printed out at home) We used our photocard driving licenses whenever we were asked for ID.

Thanks guys+gals :thumbsup2.
We don't drive,so don't have licences, thats why i thought the passport would be fine.As for laminating them+making them credit card sized,i read on another forum that peole do this+it is allowed :confused3.Instead of you having to carry around your original passport.I hope this is the case,i would be upset to get to a park and they don't accept the laminated photocopy.x.

Paul,i remember reading that some people do that, thanks for reminding me.x.

I would recommend signing your tickets with your signature, it helps to identify you to the ticket but also makes it easier to know who's ticket is whose when you are going through the booth. The ticket will be linked to your finger scan. I have been asked for photo id once going through Disney when the finger scan/ticket didn't work properly, just shown my driving licence.

I strongly recommend photocopying the backs of your tickets so that if you lost them or they got damaged you could get them replaced.

It is the law in the USA, I believe, that you carry id around with you so I would do that.

Normally you are not required to show id/signature going through the booths because of the finger scan. However, you can also be asked for id when in shops as well so having your id on you would make sense.

.

i thought that as well but its not the case, but you have to prove your id so many times its is virtualy is the law.think its when driving a car you have to have id at all times.in the states that means all the time
