We are looking at being at WDW in late Sept early Oct and was wondering that since that is the rainy season what happens if it rains the night of MNSSHP that you have tickets for. Is it a Rain or Stars event? Put onthe poncho's and go have fun anyway?

If it is bad enough to cancel do they refund your tickets?

Thanks in Advance Dave

We went last October, and had tickets for MNSSHP the night after Hurricane Wilma went through. We were worried about cancellation, but I think that, unless they close the entire park altogether (which they actually did for several hours the day the hurricane went through), they won't cancel the event for rain.

I say bring your ponchos and have fun!

It's a Rain or Shine event! It did rain on our parade (literally....) last year, but didn't last long. Think about that possibility when you plan your costume! pirate:

It rained on us last October during MNSSHP (enough that we had to wear ponchos), but nothing was cut short or cancelled.

It rained on us in 2002 (it hurts going down Splash in the rain!) and they cancelled the second parade but DS (then 14) and I put on ponchos and were among the last to leave at midnight. He gots buckets of candy near midnight.
