Question about linking MDE accounts

I'm helping 2 families plan their trip together. They are staying offsite, so they don't have hotel reservations. There are 2 families with 2 different MDE accounts. They have manually added park tickets to both accounts. When they tried linking the two accounts, only 1 of the people in the second account is seen in the first account. Does that make sense? Family 1 can only 'see' 1 person from family 2 in their account. This means that fast passes can only be booked for 1 person in family 2. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem?

I was having issues linking my account with my mother-in-laws account. I do know that they have to send a request to each individual and each request has to be accepted. Even if they are on the same account. For example, even though I control my husband and daugter's accounts, my mother-in-law had to send invitation requests for all 3 of us. And I had to do the same for her and her husband. I had to call though because the website was being glitchy, but the person I talked to was very nice and helpful and he actually send the request from one account to the other and accepted them too. So now when I log on I can see all 5 of us. I hope that helps.

If they go back into their Family & Friends list on the MDE website and click 'Add a Guest', they should be presented with a list of people they may know. This list will include any profiles managed by their connected friends. If they select them and click done, a friend request will be sent to the individual that manages the profile.

Thanks!

Thanks! When I try this, I can 'see' the names that I want to connect. When I click on them, I get a 'fumbled' message with the Monsters Inc. characters. Is that a temporary glitch or are they going to have to phone tech support?

Unknown when Disney IT will correct this. If they have the MDE mobile app loaded on a smartphone or tablet, there is a option to add through a mutual friend.

IT WORKED!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!! I couldn't link them on the website, but was successful with the app!!!!! Thank you soooooo much!

I'm looking at this also. I'm playing tour guide for my family and another family who has never been. So, from what I'm reading, once our profiles are built, they can order their tix from their MDE account like us, and then we can link our two families together for FP+ purposes?
