Question about Disney Quest crowds

How crowded do you think Disney Quest will be this sunday? Or should we wait til next weekend. Me and my husband went a few weeks ago and it was dead so we had a blast. 2 or my children have birthdays this month so we wanted to take them.

We have gone on two rainy Saturdays before and they were both empty. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

DQ only seems to ever get crowded when there are school groups there, and I don't think there will be many this weekend.

APs are no longer sold with the option to for DQ. I just renewed and can no longer go when I want. We are getting close to a year since they announced it closing. Idk when the APs stopped including it but without the pass holders, I think it is getting more and more empty. Last few times I was there almost nobody was in the place. Of course a lot of things were closed too. Go in with low expectations and you can have fun. I want to go one more time before they close but it's hard to think about paying full price for it.

Went quite a few times last month using the "plus" options on our water park fun and more tickets (all different days and times, including weekends and rainy days) and never saw more than a handful of people there. I don't think crowds are a problem there at this point.

Does anyone know how much they are charging for tickets, it is no longer included in our APs, thanks.

Also been several times in the last couple months, before our AP's renewed and no longer include them, and dead each time. Actually more of a problem they didn't have CM's at every ride and you had to wait for some to finish at a different attraction. I think this weekend will be more staffed so you really shouldn't hit many lines.

I do think once all the local schools are out soon, you'll see a LOT of school/day care groups there during the week as I bet Disney will discount for them to get someone in there.

When I was there last week it was right around $50 for a ticket (think I saw $48+tax). I have read here that they post a sign with discounted rates later in the day but don't know timing or cost.

Thanks so much, well for $100 + tax we'll most likely skip it, later in the day we are generally at home resting ;)

We are going in September and have the water parks and more option. We've never been to Disney Quest it worth it to make a trip to it at least once? We have a 6 and 9 year old and are planning on hitting the water park one day and then Disney springs for dinner and DQ or whispering canyon cafe for dinner (which we haven't been to either). Opinions?

I highly recommend it! We have a 10 year old DS and we have been there probably 4 times total on our last two trips and we always seem to find something new. I love that besides food, nothing else costs money once you are in. My son spent an hour playing pinball and golden tee today, and I had fun playing retro 80s games. There are attractions too which are a lot of fun and the whole family can enjoy. It's 4 floors of fun!

I agree that they would enjoy it. There are many new/current video games and many of the "VR" type rides, although 90's technology, are fun from the Disney perspective. They'll love Buzz Astroblasters (effectively bumper cars where you shoot balls at other cars to make them spin), Cyberspace Mountain is always fun, even if the graphics are unimpressive these days (especially if the rumors end up true and Sum of All Thrills closes by then), Pirates is a great family game to do together and we also really enjoy Alien Encounter (nothing scary - just driving/shooting aliens while rescuing colonists) - this one takes a few times to get the hang of but is fun after that. There's also an animation academy, Jungle Cruise ride (where you paddle life rafts down a virtual river and can choose your direction by how you paddle), an Aladdin VR adventure (I'm not a fan of the heavy helmet here). But it's effectively 2 floors of just arcade games (including the more expensive ones like head to head auto racing and skiing ones where you participate more) and some old ones that are fun for parents. It's usually really quiet right now and they have a ton of out of the way seating areas (that didn't exist when it was at its peak) so if mom/dad get bored they can retreat there.

We love it! Was so shocked when we went in March and it was dead. I think all the movement towards closure has really really hurt it. It used to be packed, especially later in the day.
