Question about DDP & teens

I have 3 teens who will be going off by themselves at times. Will each of them have their food vouchers on their ticket or is there a separate card for that. I actually want them to have their food vouchers with them in case we are eating somewhere they are not interested in. Is that possible or will that be too confusing?

I assume you are on a dining plan??

All the credits will be on the KTTW card, not just theirs, everyone's in the party. As credits are used they are deducted from the total.

Nadjalu is correct in that everyone's dining plan points are lumped together.

During our past trip in May a lady was in front of me with what I later found out was her youngest daughter (probably around 9 or 10). They went to order a CS lunch and were told that they have no dining points left. The lady was in shock and broke out and tears. She was so embarrassed

Chatting with her later I learned that she also had several teenagers with her on the trip who pretty much would do their own thing all day long. Apparently they had gone through the entire families dining points when the family still had 3 days left (on a 9 day vacation). She was fit to be tied and panicked because she didn't have the budget to feed all of them for three more days on top of what she had already paid of the dining plan.

Moral of the story, make sure your kids know exactly what is included on the dining plan so they order everything they are entitled to so that they don't order multiple meals unnecessarily. Also make sure they know how many meals they are entitled to so you don't end up in the same situation as this other mother.
