question about ap discounts

I'm planning to go to the world sept 09 and then again Aug/10 so in my situation we will be getting ap's. I was wondering when any ap discounts will be offered for my time frame. I know nothing is for certain but would love to have a 40% off code. Thanks

Its hard to say... I had an AP code for Oct this year... but it's no better than the other codes available

Your best bet might be to wait and book for free dining for Sept trip (eventually it will open up to everyone, not just bounceback) get the free food, THEN when you get there, upgrade your tix to the AP. The free dining is a bigger discount than many of the AP discounts anyway

I also would say that FD is your best discount for 9/09. The AP will probably not do you any good for this, but getting a (Chase) Disney Visa historically has given you a 3-day jump on the general public. This discount comes out early April

If FD does not work for you then the AP discount for room only comes out at the end of June (this works for both 9/09 and 8/10). This is typically about a 25% discount with some higher discounts for specific resort/rooms.
