Did you need some? You can make it with heavy cream and cultured buttermilk. (A lot more expensive, but then you can be all fancy and call it Creme Fraiche.)

Adding an edit: I usually get mine at Aldi as it's got a small container for 89 cents - wait, price may have changed, I'll have to check that out.

Both stores I was in had plenty. But we heard on the radio on the way home..that butter may be in short supply for the holidays, and that the price is going to skyrocket. So better stock up now if any of you plan on doing holiday baking

I'm here! Haven't lost power yet, but the day is early. Wind is gusting about 40mph; my front window screens and garage door are rattling away. Going to be very rainy and windy today. I have some video on my FB, but I don't know how to post the videos on here.

Anyways, going to go get a quick shower, while I have hot water, haha. Think I'll eat my lunch for breakfast, as well...do Totinos pizzas go with french vanilla coffee???

Bengals are playing tonight so I had to put the football in there. They're wearing the new helmets tonight.

B&B - glad to hear that your house is still standing. I'd hurry and get a shower too, don't want to take any chances with the hot water. I agree with the pizza, you can eat that anytime of the day.

Watched Survivor last night but I couldn't stay awake for Amazing Race. I'll watch that in a little bit. Going to get dressed and take the dogs for a walk first.

DIL (Bailey) got a promotion at work. She started at this company a few years ago as an ax throwing coach, moved up to events coordinator and stayed on as a coach once a week. Monday she found out that she got the GM position. She's very excited not just for the pay increase but now she's eligible for paid maternity leave (going to be needing that in a few months).

Fixed my bird feeder yesterday. I put the window clings on the little partitions so they can see them when it's empty.

Working from home today. I picked up a shift tonight at my other job. I decided to take a vacation day tomorrow from my full time job so I can sleep in the morning . I'm meeting my aunt, cousins, and my sisters for lunch tomorrow so I decided I should probably get some sleep.

That small container that was 89 cents is now $1.65, almost doubled!

Good morning all. Going to be a beautiful weather day here,,sunshine and 68. Good mowing day. Calling for heavy rains Saturday and Sunday, we'll see if they are right or not.
Floor guy is supposed to text me and let me know if he's coming today or tomorrow.

Huge tv box is sitting in the living room. We don't want to open it until the stand gets here tomorrow. Hopefully it gets set up with no issues. But I don't even want to try until Sunday. I don't want to spend our anniversary (tomorrow) , or my birthday (Saturday) arguing with Don (DH) since men refuse to read or follow instructions. I usually end up doing it myself, while he 'back seat drives', and drives me crazy!

Today is National Coffee Day. Lots of free coffee, if you partake.

Yesterday, we did go to Cape Henlopen. Packed lunch to eat there then rode bikes to Rehoboth. Total ride about 11+ miles. Stopped at Dog Fish Head for a beer and pretzel nuggets.

Intently watching the news this morning. We were supposed to leave in 3 weeks for a week in a rental condo on Sanibel. Not looking good for that trip. Causeway to the island was breeched. Thinking of possible replacement trips. I was really looking forward to it.

Big day today, LOL, first going to pick up new tires for my car (for the drive to Florida). Tonight taking Jack’s sister to the fountain show at Longwood.

I also have 2 regular magic bands that should still work.

We used some really old ones in August. Cast members commented on how old they were. They worked fine.

Oldest stepson (Ben) used to be the manager there. Now he's been the manager at Harpoon Hanna's in OC for a few years.

I had planned to do a little grocery shopping early this morning but got distracted and now the cat wanted out, so I'm walking her and I still haven't gone. - But I've got most if the day, so I'll get there when I get there.

I have never been a fan of even the smell of coffee, yuck (to me). Dad sometimes likes coffee flavored ice cream or drinks but never actual coffee. Grandma loved it as do most church folks I have known, not me! I'll take a Ralph's brand hot chocolate instead

Dad is soon off to a local mechanic with my to have the brakes checked as recommended by Nissan last week. He will then go by Dollar Tree to buy more (as always) Aquarelle wipes. He got most all of them the last time he was there so is hoping they restocked. Today feels like a good cozy type of Thursday. Keep well, warm and/or cool friends and always safe! I'll check back later.

Sunny and 65 out. Lawn is all mowed and weedwacked, front porch cleaned off and Halloween decorations up. Morning paper was finally delivered, 15 min ago. at 1:45. Kind of not morning anymore, lol. Still haven't heard from the floor guy, which I think is very rude. I don't want to sit around all day today and tomorrow waiting for him, this was supposed to be at 'my' convenience, not his. I want to go soak in a hot tub, but I figure if I fill the tub and get in, then he will either call, or show up. Annoying!

Carol I was thinking of you when I heard about Sanibel Island.

I did go into the office to be with people today. I woke up angry at Chris, then so sad, then angry. I get so angry that he did not take care of himself and go to see the doctor. His issues were very treatable but deadly if not treated. I seem to go back and forth. My coworkers are very kind and caring. I am looking forward to dinner with DDIL and the grandkids. She is making meatballs so I would never say no to that. It is kind of them to think of me today. It is tough today but then again I still find most days very hard to get through and very lonely.
