So long ago, I had 'tried my cards' with an incomplete EAN due to copy and paste (this is not the issue now) without noticing my error. I had tried too many times and I had to call to unlock and it did take a few calls/days. I don't think this is the issue but just fyi. Also I didn't call the number this time, but just submitted an email with my numbers. I hope they fix it but my Sam's email is different than my Disney email so we shall see.....
 

Agreed. I'm willing to jump through a lot of hoops to get some discounts on a DGC, but this has been pretty rough - not adhering to their stated time of 9 am today, locked/frozen funds, some GCs get send immediately, others are nowhere to be found. I purchased my Sam's membership exclusively for this (although am getting it effectively free through Swagbacks). I'm not sure I will do this again since I have no other use for a Sam's membership. There's only so much I am interested in putting up with, and this might just cross that line.

Exactly my thought, Sam's has their own issues with when these sales actually start, and limiting purchasing. But in this case it seems more an issue with the activation and issuing of the cards which goes back to the source that all of that has to run through.

I'm definitely irritated. We here know how important to transfer your cards asap. I have always been
weary of Sams Club gift cards. Several years ago I bought two $500 Digital Dis cards. I verified the balance
but Disney's site was down and couldn't transfer. I went to run errands and came home few hours later.
Went to consolidate and both cards had ZERO BALANCE. I was livid. Got no explanation what happened. Spoke to supervisor and the next morning I was issued new cards.

Of course this was back when they had good customer service. Last year I called about a wrong pickup order and was routed all over the world. Finally had to go into the store for a manager.

You could be right. The one thing, though, that I think Sam's clearly screwed up was allowing early access before the stated time. If you're going to give the same time to everyone, then give the same time to everyone. If you're going to give early access to Plus members, fine, give it to them. But, don't say it's 9 am for everyone and then everyone discovers Plus members can go early, and then send everyone scrambling to check whether they can get them early too.
 
Ok, ahhhhh - I'm on with the DGC people right now, they're all active, they just can't be consolidated right now. I saw someone's post about the funds not being released yet and made an assumption. And you know what they say about that ;)
Well, mine are still giving me an error code, now 5+ hours from purchase. I called the gift card line again, and two are on security hold, but two are not. None can be added to my account, even the ones that are active. I have no reason to think these will actually be usable when signature services goes to use them. I'm beyond PO'd at this point. I am fortunate enough to have funds I can tap elsewhere to pay for the balance of what I purchased these for, but that is not true of everyone. Beyond that, I shouldn't have to pull funds from elsewhere. I don't want to give Disney an $800 interest-free loan via unused gift cards for my next trip , which is not until April - I'd rather have that money sitting in my high yield savings account until my trip balance is due, for goodness' sake. (Sorry for the rant, but just, gah!)

It’s not a DGC website issue. I had a 25 dollar one from Swagbucks that I was able to add and consolidate this morning just fine.
