Good morning all. @Pea-n-Me--lol You beat me by 11 minutes! Glad you had a safe flight and arrived at your destination, even with the delays. Have a nice time visiting your parents..glad you are getting some R & R~

Going to be a sunny 70 degree day with slight chance of showers.

Hubby's leg swelling has gone down considerably,,skinnier than they have been for a long time.

I only slept about 2 hours, a lot on my mind, so going to lay down for a little while

Have a nice Tuesday!

Hi. I'm up too. (But at least I got a few hours - I see a much-needed nap in your future, @lynxstch!)

I've been mostly off line the last couple of days because we had some sad news in DH's family. His older brother has passed away. :sad1: (Not from covid, he had multiple health issues recently.)

If those of you praying could add in DH's parents, it would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning.

Woke up to the text "ping" on my phone that DGS had a low grade fever and could I watch him today. Then follow up that it must have been his "sleeping hot" and fever was down and daycare allowed him to stay. Plans for today are laundry and chores at home.

@easyas123, enjoy your time in Florida.

@PollyannaMom, sorry to hear of your brother-in-law's passing. Prayers for his parents.

@lynxstch, glad hubby is doing better.

@PollyannaMom So sorry for your loss. Sending prayers to you and your family.

@tazdev3225 The side effects of the vaccine are annoying but thankfully only last a day or 2. Sleep and tylenol worked for me.

Jasper saw the specialist yesterday. His lungs seem clear so the meds must be working. However, he has high blood pressure now. HIs kidney bloodwork came back with a couple of higher than normal results last month at the regular vet and she forwarded the results to the specialist. He did the same tests and the results were a bit better but still not where they should be. Jasper is now on blood pressure meds. He goes back for a recheck in 2 weeks. They want him to try a different canned kidney diet so I am adding that in very slowly to try to avoid any digestive issues. He will keep the same dry food. I feel like I am running a little old man doggie ward. Jasper is still happy, feisty, and loves his walks. Like an old man he is slow to get going in the morning, does best during the day, and winds down in the early evening. Kind of like DH! :D I am so glad I found the kennel affiliated with a local animal hospital. They can give him his meds and watch him for any issues. The specialist said Jasper can go to the kennel as long as they can give him the meds and this place will do that.

It is around 60 here today and sunny. Perfect walking weather. It is supposed to get colder during the week with some areas a bit north and west possibly getting some snow by the weekend. My older DS is near Worcester so he may see some. We are closer to the coast, northwest of Boston. Our area is a maybe for a little coating. Never trust April!

:dog::grouphug: Snowysmom, Jasper is truly Blessed to have you as his family!

Our computer stopped working this morning. Dad unplugged and re-plugged and so far so good! The computer is going on 4 years old. I do remember once either earlier this year or towards the end of last year the same thing happened. The computer worked fine until it didn't. All of a sudden it would not turn on. I am sure hoping that it keeps on doing what it needs to :)

I hope all of you are felling better and having a good afternoon, too. :grouphug:to all.

Okay. I woke up with "Covid arm" and since it doesn't hurt or itch, I'm mostly laughing, because I've got backwards Africa on my arm. :P Backwards because I see it as Africa when I see it in the mirror. But honestly, I've just been calling it Africa. And I was going to try to attach a picture, but it's rotating itself whenever I try to attach it to a forum post. That was happening on another forum too. Weird.

Prayers for all.

Getting the GKs back in to our routine after having DD home for a week and a half. Took them to preschool. Went to the post office to mail our 1st quarter stuff to the accountant. Then to Kohls to return some clothes that I had ordered for Lou Lou in the wrong size, then looking to see what I could find there for her. Summer clothes are already picked over. Worked in the office a little and then it was time to go pick up the GKs.
Came home to a full mail box and three packages on the front porch. The largest was from Kohls and had my name on it. I couldn't imagine what I had purchased for such a large box. Looked inside and found four towels, men's socks and underwear plus the invoice for a man down in Leander, TX near Austin. And also an invoice with my name on it but no merchandise. I gathered up the GKs and went to Kohls. Oh they couldn't help me since I placed the order online so back home I went to call Kohls. Nice young man helped me out, reordered my items at no charge. Then he said that I could just keep the stuff in the box if I wanted. I said "Really?". I personally didn't want it. He said that I could take it back to the store or give it to someone in need. He would make a note on the order and when that man in Leander called to inquire where his order was they would just send another package to him at no charge like they are doing for me. I'm going to hold on to the order to make sure that somehow I don't get charged and then I'll probably donate the stuff to a good cause. The socks and underwear are not the kind DH wears and I don't need towels.

Have I mentioned that DS and fiance closed on their house last Friday? It was the 5th house that they had made an offer on. It will be a good starter home for them.

Many of us have had that problem. If you edit the picture, just make it a tiny bit smaller, it doesn’t rotate. :confused3 Hope your Covid arm resolves.

Going to try again to post pictures. Just a few from Longwood Gardens yesterday.

Good morning all! Finally got a few hours uninterrupted sleep last nite, I don't think hubby got up once! Today is grocery and errand day, after I go back to sleep for at least one more hour. Have to feed cats and take trash down. Will be back later to see what everyone here is up to. Have a nice morning.

Edited it to add...I got another hour's sleep, and hubby actually slept 8 hours, only getting up once to use the bathroom. That's a new record.

Also..to those of you who got or are planning on getting the Johnson and Johnson vaccine..they have put a 'pause' on it around here and are not giving it anymore, due to 'issues'..whatever that means. So just be cautious!
