PVB Tower Charts, Sales Date and more!!!

I used my OG Poly points to book this morning. I have not bought Island Tower points.

Nov 19 is when non-Poly points can be used.

Were they resale points or direct thru Disney?

Did anyone see the message at the header of the website regarding the booking dates? The last line says “On Nov. 19, all eligible Members may book online or by calling Member services (Direct Purchase Benefit Resort Restrictions apply).” So it looks like even though it’s the same association resale points can’t be used for the tower if I’m reading this correctly.

All PVB points work now. November 19th is when those booking with non PVB points can book it.

I was aware of the timeline, it was specifically the direct benefit piece that threw me for a loop and made me think. What you said makes sense especially since people with resale points were able to book this morning.

I’ve not had any issues - i search for the specific resort/room type with whatever dates, then click on it, and then when the calendar shows up the availability traffic shows me the number of rooms.

Strange, I can’t see PIT rooms at all, maybe because I’m based in UK. Thanks anyway.

THe PIT rooms are not online yet. They will be when everyone can book them.

Almost 2.5 hours and 65 phone calls to enter the queue, but we got the exact dates we were hoping for (May 3-8, TPV studio).

Noteworthy: she misheard me at first and told me the 1br standard view was not available on 2/14. I told her I wanted theme park view and she said no problem that is available, but just FYI... a report of something not available!

I think what I'm learning this morning is just how small this dedicated Disboards group of DVC PVB owners truly is. It seems everyone here is getting exactly what they want without issue, even what most of us considered to be some very hard to come by rooms (duos TP and standard, 2 bedroom standard, etc.) and hard to book dates (opening week, xmas, new years, presidents day, etc). Turns out 95% of PVB owners just don't care that much and the 5% of us on here are crazy.

It seems everyone here is getting exactly what they want without issue, even what most of us considered to be some very hard to come by rooms (duos TP and standard, 2 bedroom standard, etc.) and over hard to book dates (opening week, xmas, new years, presidents day, etc). Turns out 95% of PVB owners just don't care that much and the 5% of us on here are crazy.

I am very glad this is true so I (and everyone else on here!!) could get what I want even if it was a little painful getting through.

To answer your question, it was newly purchased points only because my other Poly contracts are stripped.. LOL.

And as a follow-up to my previous conundrum, I was able to get the additional 3 nights to complete the 10 nights I needed in January. Right now it's two reservations due to the 7 day restriction (she even tried modifying my existing 7 night stay but the system wouldn't let her). She also put in a request to merge the two. It's a standard view 1bed January 9 - 19. I also have June 7-14 in a standard view 1bed. I didn't have to ask for developer inventory for any of them.
