PVB Tower Charts, Sales Date and more!!!

DW finally got through and was told 30 minutes! Must be slowing down!

I think what I'm learning this morning is just how small this dedicated Disboards group of DVC PVB owners truly is. It seems everyone here is getting exactly what they want without issue, even what most of us considered to be some very hard to come by rooms (duos TP and standard, 2 bedroom standard, etc.) and over hard to book dates (opening week, xmas, new years, presidents day, etc). Turns out 95% of PVB owners just don't care that much and the 5% of us on here are crazy.

I'm assuming that 2BR SV was actually a lock-off?

that's correct. i booked a lock off 2 bedroom standard view. i was still worried it would be difficult to get since it looks like only 3 were part of the initial dedication to PVB for booking.

Got through after 40 ish minutes and got what I wanted! Standard studio for 4 nights in April!! Really happy!

I looked at New Year's Eve, and the 1 bedrooms are gone already.

Failure for us. DW got through and all they had left for our week was 1 night in 1BR standard or TP view which was out of budget.
Wish call wasn't dropped this morning.

The person I spoke to this morning said they've never known this volume of calls before, so I was thinking the opposite!

Perfect, I was hoping someone would reply that had resale and was able to book the tower today.

My Poly points are all resale and I was able to book the tower today without a problem.

Available inventory increases over time. Pre-booking max available inventory 11 months from now is much more than Opening Day pre-booking inventory.

First Polynesian deeds are on the county website. I haven't looked at them, but if the comptroller entered the correct information for their search, I already see 55 deeds. Sample of deeds I just looked at...range is 50-320 points. Edit: just came across three deeds for under 50 points.

For reference, sales of CFW in August had 22 deeds for the entire month.

Note: if anyone searches, the comptroller staff misspelled Polynesian in the legal description on a number of deeds.

Are you selecting dates before you check availability? For the dates I checked in late April/early May, some of these things do show limited availability. I noticed that it seems everything outside of my booking selection are fully available on these charts, so I'm thinking it may show only your "booking window."

I started with selecting a date. Then would look at the calendar under each one and jump from month to month.

I just looked again and things have definitely changed.

Preferred view 1BR is now booked night of April 1-7 and 21-24.

One of the really painful parts of booking today is when someone calls and the CM grabs something to hold it for the caller, the person may change their dates. It's literally a refresh game on availability. In the past, I have been on the phone with a CM where they couldn't find my dates. I refreshed online and found the exact dates. The CM said that wasn't possible, so I booked it on my own. It's like a store. Someone puts something in their cart. If they checkout and pay for it, it's gone. If they change their mind, it goes back to the shelf (sometimes it can take a bit for someone to put it back in the correct location).

It's frustrating but you may also want to use the link someone provided. If it's showing availability, I would call again.
