That’s great for those with new points!@Sandisw thought you might like to know that MS confirmed they are able to pull from developer inventory for your first booking with new points. I checked with them when I got through.
Yay for everyone getting to a person, I still cannot get put into the queue, just keep getting the messages, "too busy."
Yeah I can understand the rule but it also seems pretty easy to skirt around. If someone asks for a 7 day booking in their name, then a 3 day booking in husband’s name, that would probably work. If lead guest name somehow matters and both people are going the full 10 days… doesn’t seem anything prevents booking like that on the same call. Unless they limit one booking per call?That makes sense, and I know the only way to get the answer is call back, but do you think they would have booked a separate, 3-night reservation, for the 3 dates proceeding my 7-night one? I'm really kicking myself for not asking. I'm going to call back and see, just wondering your thoughts.
Well done! Mine said 90 minutes but I'm still waiting.My recording said 2 hours but got in at right about an hour. Booked 2 nights in a Duo Premium view for Springtime Surprise in April!
They didn't limit to one booking per call. I was able to book 7 nights in January and 7 in June. She just said I can't book 10 nights in a row for a single stay and would have to call back tomorrow for the 8th, and so on. I was happy enough with what I did get that I didn't even think to ask for a separate 3 night stay that checks in when the 7 night checks out. They must have the phone lines closed to new callers because I have been trying since 9 am est, so going on two hours now (1 hr, 40 mins). I have to work today so I cannot keep calling all day. :-(
I used my OG Poly points to book this morning. I have not bought Island Tower points.Did anyone see the message at the header of the website regarding the booking dates? The last line says “On Nov. 19, all eligible Members may book online or by calling Member services (Direct Purchase Benefit Resort Restrictions apply).” So it looks like even though it’s the same association resale points can’t be used for the tower if I’m reading this correctly.
I’ve not had any issues - i search for the specific resort/room type with whatever dates, then click on it, and then when the calendar shows up the availability traffic shows me the number of rooms.I thought that was only possible for studio types on the RAT, not sure how you can see PIT room availability but currently having fun exploring!
